Panax Notoginseng is a characteristic traditional medicinal material in our country, whose saponin compounds have certain pharmacological effect on the cardio-cerebral blood vessels, nervous system, liver and so on. Nowadays, Panax Notoginseng medicine is mostly the mixed pharmaceutical form. But Pharmacological effects in different saponin monomer are not the same, some even completely distinct.It is necessary to indentify the saponin components and extract and isolate the saponin monomer, and the new drugs of saponin compound in Panax Notoginseng can be researched and realized.Saponin compounds in Panax Notoginseng are used as the materials,and a complete set of analytical methods are established by TLC and HPLC-UV in the article.Under the guidance of the analytical methods, the stability of Panax Notoginseng saponins has been studied. The isolation technology is established by repeated silica gel column chromatography and reversed-phase liquid chromatography whose the flowratio, the flow rate and sample volume of raw materials are choosed.By this method, five main monomer saponins are isolated.The Self-made products are analyzed through HPLC-UV and HPLC-MS, and the five main Panax Notoginseng saponins are confirmed.The analysis, isolation technology and identification of five main monomer saponins are studied in the article.Five main monomer saponins are isolated from Panax Notoginseng extraction.Five main saponin compounds: Ginsenoside Rb1, Ginsenoside Rd,Ginsenoside Rd, Ginsenoside Re and Notoginsenoside R1.
