Objective: To use of Chinese medicine theory, children with recurrent respiratory tract infection according to the characteristics of Chai-hu-gui-zhi Decoction used prevention and treatment in children with recurrent respiratory tract infections, its efficacy and mechanism of systematic clinical observation and research, and its pathogenesis and treatment of prescription depth explored for future prevention and treatment in children with recurrent respiratory tract infection provides a new basis of objective indicators and clinical. Methods: Cases were selected from the Xiamen City, Chinese medicine hospital of children with out-patient and hospitalization, 60 patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, n = 30, respectively Chai-hu-gui-zhi Decoction (treatment group), transfer Factor oral solution (control group) were observed in children with the symptoms, signs and treatment before and after the detection of T cell subsets, serum immunoglobulin and serum trace elements Fe, Cu, Zn content. And observed one year after treatment in children with diseases. Results: Children in the selected 34 cases of male, female 26 cases, no significant difference (P> 0.05); pre-treatment at the age of two children, feeding, disease, illness, symptoms and T-cell subsets CD3, CD4, CD4/CD8 value of serum immunoglobulin IgG, IgA, IgM and trace elements in the value of Fe, Cu, Zn content were not significantly different (P> 0.05), comparable. Treatment of 30 cases of post-treatment group, 10 cases markedly effective in 18 cases, 2 cases ineffective, the total effective rate 93.3%; control group, 30 cases, six cases of markedly effective in 15 cases, nine cases of null and void, and the total efficiency of 70%. Treatment group after treatment in children with a sense of reduction in the number of complex clinical pre-treatment to reduce symptoms, shorten the course of infection; in improving the children the main symptoms and signs better than the control group (P <0.05); T cell subsets CD3, CD4, CD4/CD8 and treatment significantly improve ago, there is statistical significance (P <0.05); serum immunoglobulin IgG, IgA levels were significantly increased (P <0.05); trace elements iron, zinc content than those before treatment improve, there is statistical significance (P <0.05).Conclusion: The application of Chai-hu-gui-zhi Decoction Recurrent Respiratory Tract Infection control has significant efficacy in children can significantly improve the symptoms and signs, and enhance humoral immunity and cell in children with immune function, improve the trace elements iron, zinc's lack of status, so as to achieve the purpose of prevention and treatment, has important clinical value.
