The Clinical Study Of The Therapy Of Liangxuejiedu For Chronic Hepatitis C

Objective:this study is to investigate the efficacy and safety of Liangxuejiedufang for chronic hepatitis C from the symptoms,virology,biochemistry aspects,And we will try to make sure that the therapy of Liangxuejiedufang maybe help the patients with chronic hepatitis C get well.Methods:All of the Patients came from the first subsidiary hospital of Chinese medicine university in Nanjing and 81 People's Liberation Army hospital from Aug 2007 to Dec 2008.38 cases were divided to two group,which named treatment group and contrast group.They were treatmented with Liangxuejiedufang and Peg-interferon united ribavirin separately.All the Patients were observed the change both before and after treatment,such as clinicals symptoms,virul quantitative levels with hepatitis C virus,hepatic function indexes and so on.Results:1.The total efficiency of the treatment group and contrast group were 73.9%and 93.3%,There was statistically significance between the two group(P＜0.05).Chinese medicine treatment of chronic hepatitis C is also the main means of treatment,in particular the absence of interferon therapy in patients with indications.2.After treatment,clinical symptoms and physical signs were improved markedly in the two group.Liangxuejiedufang has advantage in lessen the total points of symptoms.Improvement ofabdominal distension loss of appetite,weakness,dryness of mouth and bitter taste in treatment group was superior to the contrast group(p＜0.05).while the contrast group have a better alleviate on liver pain,jaundice(p＜0.05).3.The level of the serums AST,ALT decreased in the two group(p＜0.05),the decrease on serums AST,ALT was no statistically significance between the two group(P＞0.05).The two groups can effectively reduce the GGT,AKP,aspects of the two groups in the reduction of GGT was no significance(P＞0.05),contrast group has advantages on reducing the AKP(p＜0.05).Treatment group has a significant advantage on higher ALB,lower GLB and adjust A/G(p＜0.05).Argue that Liangxuejiedufa has a positively effect to hepatitic biochemistry.4.Both the group of the virus quantities decreased,it indicated that Liangxuejiedefang has the effect of anti-virus.The contrast group was superior to the treatment group in regard to the clearance rate of HCV-RNA(p＜0.05).On the reduction the quantities of HCV-RNA side,no significant difference between the two(P＞0.05).The reason for the result is maybe Liangxuejiedufang's ablities on anti-virus is limited.Conclusion:Liangxuejiedufang and interferon united ribavirin could well improve symptoms and physical sign of patients with chronic hepatitis C,depress the level of ALT,AST,lighten the damage of liver,decreased the virus quantities.Chinese medicine have advantages in alleviating symptoms but inferior to interferon group in the field of clearance of HCV-RNA.Liangxuejiedufang is worth spreading.
