Purpose: The aim of this issue is through the analysis of 170 cases of functional constipation in patients with the constituent ratio of TCM Syndrome, than to explore the pathogenesis of functional constipation in patients with type rules of syndrome to guide clinical prevention and treatment of constipation.Method: Information from the clinic in Nanjing is a Chinese medicine hospital in patients with constipation, through history taking, clinical examination, functional constipation in line with the standard case of 170 cases, 50 cases of male, female 120 cases, 103 cases in young people, 67 cases of the elderly. Constipation standard of TCM is heat into intestinal-type, intestinal gas stagnation, deficiency spleen gas, yin asthenia and dryness of the intestine, asdthenic splenonephro-yang type. Into the cases of each disease and the main constipation and symptoms of disease in Chinese medicine for semi-quantitative, and calculate the integral value of their TCM diagnosis type, and then the data for statistical analysis.Results:1. 170 cases of functional constipation in patients with intestinal gas stagnation-type accounted for 27.65% (47 cases), ranks first; deficiency spleen gas accounted for 24.12% (41 cases), ranking No. 2; yin asthenia and dryness of the intestine type accounted for 23.52% (40 cases), ranking No. 3; asdthenic splenonephro-yang type accounted for 13.53% (23 cases), ranked 4; heat into intestinal-type accounted for 11.18% (19 cases), ranked No. 5.2. 120 cases of female patients with functional constipation intestinal gas stagnation accounted for the first one, yin asthenia and dryness of the intestine accounted for the second, accounting for deficiency spleen gas No. 3, asdthenic splenonephro-yang type accounted for the fourth, gut is the smallest share of heat.3. 50 cases of male patients with functional constipation intestinal gas stagnation in the largest share, followed by deficiency spleen gas, intestinal-type accounts for heat No. 3, asdthenic splenonephro-yang type accounted for the fourth, the bottom is yin asthenia and dryness of the intestine type.4. 103 cases of middle-aged and young patients with functional constipation intestinal gas Stagnation in the largest share, followed by yin asthenia and dryness of the intestine, the third is deficiency spleen gas type, the fourth is heat intestinal type, the first five is asdthenic splenonephro-yang type5. 67 cases of functional constipation in elderly patients with deficiency spleen gas in section 1, yin asthenia and dryness of the intestine type section 2, asdthenic splenonephro-yang type occupies the first 3, the fourth is intestinal gas stagnation, 5 Heat is the intestinal type. Conclusion:1. Functional constipation in patients with intestinal gas stagnation in the most incidence, deficiency spleen gas accounted for the second, yin asthenia and dryness of the intestine type accounted for the third, asdthenic splenonephro-yang type accounted for the fourth,the incidence of heat into intestinal-type is lower.2. Between men, women ,young and old pepole as a result of physiological and psychological characteristics are different, their functional constipation caused by the incidence of constituent ratio is different.
