Experimental Study Of SanXue MingMu TABLET On Protecting Retina After Retinal Vein Occlusion

Objective:To investigate the effects of Sanxue Mingmu Tablets(SMT) on treat retinal vein occlusion(RVO) and the action mechanism of controls the regeneracy blood vessel.Provides the theory basis for the clinical practice.Method:40 rabbits were randomly into 4 groups,with 10 in each. Ten animals in group A(GA) were taken as healthy controls,and the other rabbits in group B,C and D were fed with normal saline,positive controlling drug and SMT respectively,then prepared as RVO model by photochemistry.After the experiment 7th and 21st day to kill the rabbits respectively.To detect the density of SOD,MDA and VEGF in the retina,and the morphological variations were observed under light microscope.Results:The RVO model have established successes in 60 eyes.We can see haemorrhage at eyeground of every group after the model have established successes 7d.Compare D group with A,B,and C groups:The vitality of SOD is obviously higher than B,C groups,the content of MDA is obviously lower than B,C groups,the content of VEGF is obviously lower than B,C group,Also the difference was significative(P＜0.01).after the model have established successes 21d,haemorrhage at eyeground of D group has absorbed completely,and haemorrhage at eyeground still obviously in B,C groups.The morphological variations of D were smaller than B and C in observed under light microscope at 7th,21st day.Conclusions:SMT could promote the uptake of haemorrhage,to improve the conditions of retina hypohemia,enhance the ability of anti-oxidized,to depress the excessive expression of VEGF in retina surface after RVO,to treats RVO and control regeneracy blood vessel,and then protects the retina.
