Objectives:the curative effect to pulmonary heart disease of the routine treatment which consists of modern medicine and huoxueqingfei-yin (HXQFY),and,the contributions.of the system of heme oxygenase/carbon monoxide(HO-1/CO),the times of right ventricular preejection period and the accel time of pulmonary blood flow(RVPEP/AT).Methods:40 patients of pulmonary heart disease were randomly divided into 2 groups,routine modern medicine managements for controlling group(20 patients),the same managements and HXQFY for treating group(20 patients). The aids of the tests for the two groups include three:the therapeutic effects, the relative value of the times of right ventricular preejection period and the accel time of pulmonary blood flow(RVPEP/AT),the content of carbon monoxide in blood plasma.Results:the total effective rate was 85%in treating group,with 13 patients significantly effective,4 patients effective,and 3 patients ineffective.In contrast,it was only 75.5%in controlling group,with 7 patients significantly effective,8 patients effective,and 5 patients ineffective,there being no difference between the two groups in the total effective rats(p>0.05),but,a extreme significantly difference in the obvious effective rats(p<0.01).And, there being a extreme significantly difference between the laboratory examination results which in one group of before and after treatment of the two groups(p<0.01).Those data displayed no significantly difference between the two groups,even before as after treatment,but,obviously difference was displayed between the equation of before and after treatment of the two groups(p<0.05 at RVPEP/AT,CO,PaCO2,p<0.01 at PaO2). PaO2 acts as an negative correlation with RVPEP/AT,CO,RVPEP/AT,CO and PaCO2 act as positive correlation with each other.Conclusions:the treatments of HXQFY which based on routine modern medicine managements for patients of pulmonary heart disease got manifest therapeutical effects,more than these,manifest improve effects for blood gas analysis,RVPEP/AT,the content of carbon monoxide in blood plasma;the alteration,which of the content of carbon monoxide in blood plasma from the acute episode to anesis of patients of pulmonary heart disease,cue a conclusion that the system of heme oxygenase/carbon monoxide(HO-1/CO) act an important role from the acute episode to anesis of patients of pulmonary heart disease.
