ObjectiveTo detect the expression of protein FoxM1 in normal cervical epithelial, cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN),cervical squamous cell carcinoma,we will analysis the relation of FoxM1 expression with the level of CIN and clinical pathology parameteres in cervical squamous cell carcinoma, and investigate the clinical significance of FoxM1 protein in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and cervical intraepithelial neoplasia.MethodsWith FoxM1 polyclonal antibody and immunohistochemistry SABC method,we have detected the expression level of the FoxM1 protein in 37 cases of cervical invasive cancer,34 cases of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia and 12 cases of normal cervical, and analysised the relation of FoxM1 expression with the level of CIN and clinical pathology parameteres in cervical squamous cell carcinoma with SPSS 13.0 application statistical software process data. Results 1.In normal cervical epithelial tissue,CIN,cervical squamous cell carcinoma, the positive rates of FoxM1 were 0%,50.0%,91.9%,respectively,The difference between the three groups was statistically significant(P<0.05);To compare two groups randomly, with using chi-square segmentation test, the positive rate of FoxM1 protein in cervical squamous cell carcinoma group is higher than in the normal cervical group obviously, there was significant difference statistically(P<0.0125);the positive rate of FoxM1 protein in CIN group is higher than in the normal cervical group obviously, the difference was significant(P<0.0125),the positive rate of FoxM1 protein in squamous cell carcinoma group is higher than in CIN group, there was significant difference statistically(P<0.0125).With Fisher exact probability test, the positive rate of FoxM1 protein in CINⅢgroup is higher than in CINⅠgroup, there was significant difference statistically(P<0.05).the positive rate of FoxM1 protein in CINⅢgroup is higher than in CINⅡgroup, but no significant difference statistically(P>0.05 ).the positive rate of FoxM1 protein in CINⅡgroup is higher than in CINⅠgroup, but no significant difference statistically(P>0.05)2.The positive rates of FoxM1 expression in the well-differentiated, moderately differentiated, poorly differentiated squamous cell carcinoma were 87.5%,93.3%,92.9%,respectively,there was no significant difference statistically among the three groups(P>0.05);the positive rates of FoxM1 expression in clinical phaseⅠandⅡwere 89.5%, 94.4%,respectively,the difference was not significant statistically (P>0.05);the positive rates of FoxM1 expression in the depth of myometrial invasion <1/2 and≥1/2 group were 91.7%,92.3%, respectively, there was no significant difference statistically(P>0.05); the positive rates of FoxM1 expression in lymph node metastasis and no lymph node metastases were 100%,90.6%,respectively,no significant difference statistically(P>0.05).3.In normal cervix,CINⅠ,CINⅡ,CINⅢand cervical squamous cell carcinoma, the positive rates of FoxM1 expression were 0%,27.3%,50.0%,72.7%,91.9%respectively.With increasing the degree of cervical lesions, the positive rate of FoxM1 protein gradually increased, and have a positive correlation with the the degree of cervical lesions (r=0.75,p<0.001).Conclusion1 The increase of FoxM1 positive rate was positively correlated with the lesions increase in cervical squamous cell malignant transformation process, therefore this indicates that FoxM1 may be involved carcinogenesis in CIN.2 FoxM1 may be used as a new tumor molecular markers, due to its constant high expression in cervical squamous cell carcinoma.
