Objective A series of supine abdominal computed tomography (CT) scans were analyzed. To analyze the risk probability of spleen, liver and colon injury by minimally invasive percutaneous nephrolithotomy (MPCNL),and to analyze the impact on the spleen, liver and colon injury by Comparison of sex and age. Methods A series of 513 supine abdominal computed tomography(CT) scans were analyzed.A line of MPCNL to the upper pole,or hilum,or lower pole of the kidney was simulated. From an anatomic point view,if the spleen, liver and colon was located anterior to the line,it represented a potential risk of viscera injury,if the spleen, liver and colon was located on the line of the PCN,it represented the risk of viscera injury. If the spleen, liver and colon was located posterior to the line,it rep resented no potential risk of viscera injury. The risk probability of viscera injury by MPCNL was analyzed by SPSS 17.0.Results 1.The age of 513 patients with supine abdominal computed tomography(CT) is from 2 to 87 years, and the mean age is 48.32±15.72.2.The risk of spleen injury 5 cases of left 10th Intercostal(0.97%), 2 cases of left 11th Intercostal(0.39%),0 cases of left 12th Intercostal (0.00%),With a total of 7 cases(1.36%).If these patients have the MPCNL.The spleen will be injured.the total risk of spleen injury was 1.36%.The potential risk of splenic injury 37 cases of left 10th Intercostal(7.21%),10 cases of left 11th Intercostal(1.95%),0 cases of left 12th Intercostal(0.00%),With a total of 47 cases(9.16%).If these patients have the MPCNL.The spleen may be injured.the total potential risk of spleen injury was 9.16%.The total risk of spleen injury on 10th Intercostal was 8.18%(42 cases); The total risk of spleen injury on 11th Intercostal was 2.34%(12 cases); The total risk of spleen injury on 12th Intercostal was 0.00%(0 cases )3.The risk of liver injury 6 cases of right 10th Intercostal(1.17%), 3 cases of right 11th Intercostal(0.58%),0 cases of right 12th Intercostal (0.00%),With a total of 9 cases(1.75%).If these patients have the MPCNL.The liver will be injured.the total risk of liver injury was 1.75%.The potential risk of splenic injury 8 cases of right 10th Intercostal(1.56%),6 cases of right 11th Intercostal(1.17%),1 cases of right 12th Intercostal(0.19%),With a total of 15 cases(2.92%).If these patients have the MPCNL.The liver may be injured.the total potential risk of liver injury was 2.92%.The total risk of liver injury on 10th Intercostal was 2.73%(14 cases); The total risk of liver injury on 11th Intercostal was 1.75%(9 cases); The total risk of liver injury on 12th Intercostal was 0.19%(1 cases)4.The risk of colon injury 0 cases of left 10th Intercostal(0.00%), 3 cases of left 11th Intercostal(0.58%),6 cases of left 12th Intercostal (1.17%),With a total of 9 cases(1.75%).If these patients have the MPCNL.The colon will be injured.the total risk of colon injury on the left was 1.75%;0 cases of right 10th Intercostal(0.00%),2 cases of right 11th Intercostal(0.39%),3 cases of right 12th Intercostal(0.58%),With a total of 5 cases(0.97%).If these patients have the MPCNL.The colon will be injured.the total risk of colon injury on the right was 0.97%.The potential risk of colon injury 0 cases of left 10th Intercostal (0.00%),8 cases of left 11th Intercostal(1.56%),2 cases of left 12th Intercostal(0.39%),With a total of 10 cases(1.95%).If these patients have the MPCNL.The colon may be injured.the total potential risk of colon injury on the left was 1.95%;0 cases of right 10th Intercostal (0.00%),0 cases of right 11th Intercostal(0.00%),0cases of right 12th Intercostal(0.00%),With a total of 0 cases(0.00%).If these patients have the MPCNL.The colon may be injured.the total potential risk of colon injury on the right was 0.00%. The total risk of colon injury on the left was 3.70%(19 cases); The total risk of colon injury on the right was 0.97%(5 cases);the two have significant differences, the risk of the injury on the left was significantly higher than the right.5.The risk of injury and potential risk of injury risk on liver, spleen, colon had no significant difference between men and women by Statistic6.The risk of injury and potential risk of injury risk on liver, spleen, colon had no significant difference between age grouping by Statistic except the risk of colon injury in age grouping(P<0.05 ).Conclusion 1.The risk of spleen injury was 8.18%on 10th Intercostal; The risk of spleen injury was 2.34%on 11th Intercostal.2.The risk of liver injury was 2.73%on 10th Intercostal; The risk of liver injury was 1.75%on 11th Intercostal; The risk of liver injury was 0.19%on 12th Intercostal.3.The risk of colon injury was 3.70%on the left; The risk of colon injury was 0.97%on the right, the risk of the injury on the left was significantly higher than the right.4.The risk of injury and potential risk of injury risk have no significant difference between men and women. The risk of colon injury increases with age increasing.5.It plays an important role in the prevention of liver and spleen, colon injury that has pre-operative CT examination...
