| Objective To discuss the methods and clinical effects of total hip replacement on the stale acetabular fracture.Methods Operative methods and clinical efficacy were analyzed retrospectively in 21 cases.which of them are 16 male, 5 female aged from 24 to 58 years old(mean 41.5 y) .All of them were followed up with an average time of 2 years and 3 months(ranged from 3 months to 49 months). 13 of them with open reduction and internal fixation for the stale acetabular fracture while the other 8 with no operative treatment.Result The average Hariss' score of 13 cases which had been treated with internal fixation was 87.3 (ranged from 77 to 93) all the patients can take care of themselves,can walk without sticks,can do some slight work. 11 cases have no pain while the other 2 have little pain .The eminent rate of the patients which were treated for the first total hip replacement are 87.5%.There are no postoperative infection,no dislocation,and 1 case with aseptic lossening of acetabulum which was treated for a secondary THR.Conclusion Total hip replacement is an efficancy way to the treatment of stale acetabular fracture. |
