Objective: To investigate expressions and significances of HIF-1αand Survivin in cervical squamous cell carcinoma.Methods: The expressions of HIF-1αand Survivin in 50 cases of cervical squamous cell carcinoma, 10 cases of normal cervical tissues were detected with SP method of immuohistochemistry.Results: 1,The expressions of HIF-1αand Survivin in cervical squamous cell carcinoma were 64%,70% respectively, but there were 0% in normal cervical tissues, there were significant differences (P<0.05).2,The expression of HIF-1αwas significantly correlated with clinical stage of cervical squamous cell carcinoma(χ2=4.67,P<0.05); differentiation degree of tumor cells(χ2=9.04,P<0.05);The expression of Survivin was significantly correlated with clinical stage of cervical squamous cell carcinoma(χ2=5.36,P<0.05); differentiation degree of tumor cells(χ2=6.32,P<0.05).3,The expression of HIF-1αwas correlated positively with that of Survivin. Conclusion:HIF-1αand Survivin may play an significant roles in occurrence and development of cervical squamous cell carcinoma, both of them may play synergetic roles. So combined detection of expressions of HIF-1αand Survivin can be regarded as an important index to judge malignancy of the tumor and evaluate prognosis of cervical squamous cell carcinoma.
