The Chemical Component Study On The Stemona Sessilifolia

Stemona sessilifolia is one of the genus of Stemona.As one of the mainly origin of Chinese traditional medicine stemona,S.sessilifolia is used in wetting one's lung,relieving a cough,and killing insects and the louse.Besides,it has curative effect on chincough,phthisic,chronic bronchitis,and enterobiasis.While in pharmacology,it has a good effect on resisting bacterium and virus,killing insects,codeine,dispelling phlegm.In this study,the alkaloids of.Stemona sessilifolia collected from Zhejiang Province of China were isolated and structurally identified through silica gel chromatograph,and gel Sephadex LH-20.Then 7 Stemona sessilifolia alkaloids were isolated in which 6 complicated compounds were established by spectral methods as IR,UV,MS,NMR. Among them,the new alkaloid is one of the isomer of stenine.The other alkaloids were known as Sessifoline B,Stemoninine,Tuberostemonone, Parvistemoline,Sessilistemonamine D. In this study,2D NMR techniques(~1H-~1H COSY,HMQC,HMBC and NOESY) were used in establishing the stereochemistry of the new alkaloid.
