Questionnaire survey was conducted among them before and after the intervention to evaluate the effect of behavioral intervention. Results The rural married women obtained the knowledge of AIDS mainly by watching TV, reading newspapers and friends. The awareness of three transmitted route is from 48.2% to 91.7%,but the awareness of non-transmitted route is about 50%.The higher education level and income class of the rural women, the more they knew about AIDS related knowledge than the others .
