Study On Interleukin-2 Levels In GCF Between The Implant Supported Denture With Adjacent Natural Tooth

Objective:The aim of this study was to detect levels of interleukins 2 in gingival crevicular fluid of implant and tooth nearby the implant,and test whether the levels differ from each other.Methods:Fifty-eight patients(23 female,35 male,ages,17-72 years;) participated in this study.Gingival crevicular fluid(GCF) was sampled from 67 healthy,l0 inflamed sites of implants,37 healthy teeth and 15 periodontal teeth.Clinical parameters were measured.IL - 2 levels were analyzed using ELISA method.Result:Increases were detected in the volume of gingival crevicular fluid and the concentrations of interleukins 2 between the healthy and periodontal.Conclusions:Leveling of the teeth evoke increases in interleukins 2 levels in the periodontal tissues that can be detected in gingival crevicular fluid.
