Objectives:To assess the incidence of biliary complications after right lobe living-donor liver transplantation(LDLT) in patients undergoing duct-to-duct choledochocholedochostomy and identify variables that effect the incidence of biliary complications in Transplantation Department of Tianjin First Central Hospital. Methods:Enrolled in this study were adults who underwent their first LDLT with DD reconstruction at Transplantation Department of Tianjin First Central Hospital between March 2007 and October 2008(n=75).We reviewed 75 cases retrospectively and analyzed risk factors of BC with the t-test,andχ~2 test for univaiate analyses. Logic Regression was used for multivariate analysesResults:BC occurred in 20 of the 75 recipients(26.7%).Biliary leakage occurred in 5 of the 75 recipients(6.7%),Biliary stricture occurred in 15 of the 75 recipients (20.0%),The follow-up period was 6 months posttransplant. The univariate analysis revealed that The time interval between portal venous and hepatic arterial reperfusion (P=0.040),hepatic artery thrombosis(P=0.048),operation time(P=0.003),CIT (P=0.037) were risk factors. In the multivariable analysis,The time interval between portal venous and hepatic arterial reperfusion(P=0.018),hepatic artery thrombosis (P=0.047) were significant risk factors for BC.Conclusions:In this study,The time interval between portal venous and hepatic arterial reperfusion and hepatic artery thrombosis were risk factors for BC in DD biliary reconstruction in LDLT.
