Background and SignificanceA lot of studies had shown, health education was an valid therapy that helped the pregnant women establish healthy behavior. From the angles of abroad studies, there were a few problems in maternal health education, such as lack of the study on the pattern of maternal health education, of which the key point was the definition of content of maternal health education. Although a huge amount of content fronted us, it's no need to pick them all. As a result, the study needed to screen the mass to find out the truth, that's the key.Materials and MethodsHealth technology assessment, system theory, item management, KAP, HBM guided the study to carry out the further job. And the materials in this study included inferences, expert advice, the status of the investigation and so on.To get the information of the status of studies, we used literature analysis. To make sure whether content was saturated, applying boundary analysis. To category, using category analysis, and accomplishing expert picking by Delphi method.Results1. The study and implementing status of maternal health education: the status of domestic studies had shown, there were 5 kinds of problems-(1) Gloomy content, comprehensive insufficient; (2) Lack of integration in the process of maternal health education, especially before pregnant period; (3) To pay attention to paternal and family health education; (4) The quality of suppliers was unsatisfied; (5) The pattern of maternal health education surrounded medical core was familiar, while the community one strange.2. The study on content frame of maternal health education: following the guiding of health theory, primary prevention and need, motivation, behavior theory, the study clarified the problems from the start, then nail down the content frame by the means of health and need theory, finally, "8+2+1" accomplished through the demonstration and consultation-"8" meant 8 aspects of maternal health education: mental health, environment and lifestyle, nutrition and balanced diet, sports, knowledge of system care and childbirth, common complications of pregnancy, breastfeeding, artificial feeding. "2"-meant that guiding content of paternal and family. "1"-meant that developing the maternal guiding content on basis of the "8".3. Screening the crucial content of maternal health education: firstly, collecting the literatures on maternal health education including magazine and website; secondly, using literature analysis to identify the crucial content; thirdly, testing the saturation of the literatures and then getting the list of all kinds of literatures; at last, developing the maximum list of maternal health education: mental health, environment and lifestyle, nutrition and balanced diet, sports, knowledge of system care and childbirth, common complications of pregnancy, breastfeeding, artificial feeding, guiding content of paternal and family.4. Expert demonstration of the content list: firstly, rectifying the maximum list and finishing the very content list; secondly, executing the 2-round demonstrations to prepare for the demand-side demonstration.5. Demand-side demonstration of the content list: from 3 angles-need, importance, popular, the study discussed 3 above nature among different occupational groups, different education levels, different backgrounds and different periods. And the trying made the content more feasible.Discussion and Suggestion1. It's essential to enhance the study on maternal health education.2. Every work must start on basis of clarifying the targets and principles.3. The core of the study was to collect the content of maternal health education.4.
