Objective: In this study, the use of Chinese medicine and traditional Chinese and western medicine theory, the dialectical disease with a combination based on clinical experience instructors side - warts bone soup, from clinical research to explore the treatment of knee osteoarthritis (KOA) Clinical efficacy. Methods: Statistics from the 2006 ~ 2008 patients with out-patient clinics and wards, a total of 40 cases. Take one of warts soup bone for the treatment group, 20 cases of treatment; taking western medicine Pui-ching speed for the control group, the treatment of 20 cases. Treatment of 2 months. Observe the total effect of the two groups after treatment, the symptom score, as well as C-reactive protein (CRP) impact. Results: The clinical observation of the two groups have in the treatment of the total efficiency, efficacy syndrome no significant difference (P> 0.05); two groups of patients with symptom score before and after treatment, there are significant differences (P <0.01), inter-group comparison after treatment walking pain and night pain lying has significant difference in symptom score (P <0.05); two groups of patients before and after treatment have significant differences in CRP, treatment group showed no significant difference (P <0.01). Conclusion: The efficacy of bone soup warts KOA with western medicine was no significant difference.
