Mechanism Of Accupuncture On Spinal Ganglia Of Adjuvant-Induced Arthritis Through Stimulating Governor Meridian And Other Meridians

Objectives:(1)To explore the expression of Nuclear factor- kappa B(NF-κB)in the spinal ganglia of the adjuvant-induced arthritis of rats(AA),discuss the mechanism of the Rheumatoid Arthritis(RA) from nerve-incretion-immunology.(2)To explore the possible mechanism of the conventional acupuncture and the acupuncture through stimulating governor meridian and other meridians for treating the AA and the comparison between them.Methods:Wistar rats were randomly divided into four groups:the control group (injected with saline water),the model group,the conventional acupuncture group and the stimulating governor meridian and other meridians acupuncture group(the posterior there groups' Wistar rats were immunized with complete Freund's adjuvant).(1)To observe the joint swelling,multiple joint pain and arthritis index scores;(2)To observe the pathological changes in spinal ganglia with light microscope;(3)To observe the expression of Nuclear factor-kappa B in the spinal ganglia with immunohistochemical method.Results:(1)Compared with the control group,the other there groups' joint swelling,multiple joint pain and arthritis index scores increased significantly.(2)Observe the spinal ganglia of the AA rats with light microscope:the nerve cells had pathological changes.(3) the expression of NF-κB in the spinal ganglia of enhanced.Conclusions:(1)The spinal ganglia of the AA rats had pathological changes, and these pathological changes came from the over-expression of NF-κB,which made cytokines and proinflammatory factors etc.transcribe enhanced.(2)Acupuncture can reduce the pathological changes in the spinal ganglia of the AA rats,inhibit the over-expression of NF-κB in the spinal ganglia of the AA rats,and the stimulating governor meridian and other meridians acupuncture is better than the conventional acupuncture.
