Clinical And Experimental Study On Qing You Yi Wei Decoction In Treating Helicobacter Pylori Associated Chronic Superficial Gastritis Of Spleen-stomach Damp-heat Syndrome

This research applies the theory of Traditional Chinese medicine and modern technology from clinical practics to experiments observing the effect of treating Helicobacter pylori associated chronic superficial gastritis of Spleen-stomach Damp-heat Syndrome with Qing You Yi Wei Decoction . In the clinical researeh, eithty-five chronic superficial gastritis patients with Hp infection of Spleen-stomach Damp-heat Syndrome were divided randomly into treatment group and control group. The 44 patients of treatment group were given Qing You Yi Wei Decoction, and given some appropriate addition and subtraction on the basis of symptom. The 41 patients of control group were given western medicine(Bismuth potassium citrate,Amoxicillin,Metronidazole). The result of clinical research indicated that The treatment group was more better than the control group in the aspect of meliorating clinical symptoms(p<0.05 or p<0.01 ); There were distinct difference in the gastric mucosas pathology in the two groups (p<0.05); The treatment group was better than the control group in eradicating Helicobacter pylori, but there was no distinct difference between them(p>0.05). The Experimental research on animals shows: Qing You Yi Wei Decoction has good treatment effect on rats with chronic gastritis of Spleen-stomach Damp-heat Syndrome with Hp contaminated. It can reduce the inflammation of the gastric mucosa, promote the renewal of the atrophic gland and control the contamination of Hp.It can also improve the hormone secretion of the gastrointestinal tract, accelerate the secretion of the gastric acid, promote the anti-oxidation and the free radical elimination function of the body, protect the gastric mucosa. The results of this experiment shows that: Qing You Yi Wei Decoction has a quite good effect on treating Helicobacter pylori associated chronic superficial gastritis of Spleen-stomach Damp-heat Syndrome by improving clinical symptoms, eliminating the inflammation of gastric mucosa tissues and eradicating Helicobacter pylori.
