Objective:To investigate the combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment for acute promyelocytic leukemia patients with disseminated intravascular coagulation clinical efficacy. Methods: 40 cases of acute promyelocytic leukemia patients with disseminated intravascular coagulation were randomly divided into two groups, one group of 20 cases, to consolidate sha bai qing yu recipe plus chemotherapy, the control group of 20 cases, to chemotherapy alone. Before and after treatment were observed in patients with the clinical symptoms, quality of life, the blood coagulation indicators, part of the blood biochemical indices changeas and the appearance of side effects and toxicity of the situation. Results:The combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment can significantly improve symptoms, improve quality of life, reduce the side effects of chemotherapy, reducing infection rates, effective than chemotherapy alone group. Conclusion:Integrated treatment of acute promyelocytic leukemia complicated by disseminated intravascular coagulation has the exact effect, but the result of the short time period for survival and the rate of recurrence of the situation, awaiting further observation research.
