ObjectiveThe subject applied the Aβ1-40 to inject into brain Meynert basal nucleus to set up AD rats model,Research the electric acupuncture to AD model rats impact on acetylcholine,acetylcholine transferase,Acetylcholinesteras-e,neuronal apoptosis,as well as the learning and memory abilities,and explore the role and mechanism of electricity-acupuncture to AD treatment and provide experimental basis.MethodsCheck 40 healthy SD rats,half male and half female,were randomly divided into normal group,sham-operated group,model group and electro-acupuncture group.Using bilateral nucleus basalis Meynert microinjection status Aβ1-40 pool to set up rat model of AD.Applied of alkaline hydroxyl ammonia colorimetric observation of AD model rats brain the site of hippocampus and cortex Ach content,applied acetylcholine transferase test box and acetylcholinesterase test box to observe AD model rats brain the site hippocampus and cortex acetylcholine transferase and acetylcholinesterase activity,using Morris water maze observed AD model rats in learning and memory capability.Results1.Electro-acupuncture group compared with the model group,has significantly reduced the escaped latency of rats in the original platform quadrant swimming time for the total percentage of swimming time was significantly increased.through the original platform location marked increase in the number(P<0.01).2.Electro-acupuncture group compared with the model group,the Ach content of AD model rats brain in the site of hippocampus and cortex were significantly increased(P<0.01).3.Electro-acupuncture group compared with the model group,the ChAT activity of AD model rat brain in the site of hippocampus and cortex was significantly elevated(P<0.01).4.Electro-acupuncture group compared with the model group,the AchE activity of AD model rat brain in the site of hippocampus and cortex was significantly lowered(P<0.01).5.Electro-acupuncture group compared with the model group,the percentage of neuronal apoptosis of AD model rat in brain of hippocampus and cortex was significantly decreased(P<0.01).Conclusion1.Electro-acupuncture can improve learning and memory in AD model rats.2.Electro-acupuncture can increase AD model rat brain the site of hippocampus and cortex Ach content,ChAT activity,reducing the activity of AchE.Tip Electro-acupuncture can adjust AD model rat the function of cholinergic system.3.Electroacupuncture can reduce the AD model rat brain hippocampus and cortex part of the percentage of neuronal apoptosis.Electroacupuncture prompted AD model rat brain can inhibit apoptosis,there is probably its way through the lower Aβ1-40 toxicity and enhance the activity of cholinergic system of brain cells to achieve the protective effects.
