| Object:To observe the influence of the associated antihypertensive therapy on the rate of reach mark blood pressure in patients with essential hypertension who had cardiovascular risk factors.Methods:94 patients with essential hypertension were divided into two groups by randomization. A group were given Amlodipine and Compound Amiloride Hydrochloride. B group were given Amlodipine and telmisartan. To observe blood pressure level,the rate of reach mark blood pressure and compliance in patient with antihypertensive therapy and cardiovascular events between A group and B group. Liver and kidney function, blood electrolytes, plasma glucose and creatine kinase were detected in thirty patients who complete 48 weeks follow up.Results:(1) The blood pressure level and rate of reach mark blood pressure in A group were no different from them in B group(P>0.05). The total rate of reach mark blood pressure at the 2nd,4th,8th,12th,24th,48th,36th,48th week were 64.89%,75.53%,91.49%,93.62%,97.85%,94.05%,93.33%。(2) The level of liver and kidney function, blood electrolytes, blood glucose and creatine kinase at the 48th week were no different from them at the beginning(P>0.05).(3)The compliance with drugs was 93.6%(4) There was an occurrence of cerebral stroke in 94 patients with essential hypertension.Conclusion: (1)Amlodipine associated combination each with Compound Amiloride Hydrochloride or telmisartan can lower the level of blood pressure in patients with mild to moderate essential hypertension , and can make most patients reach the treatment target,with effectively, safety, and high compliance.(2) To increase the rate of reach mark blood pressure and reduce cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events;The following is necessary:1. To strengthen the right selection of United antihypertensive drugs.2. To pay more attention to increase the compliance in patient with antihypertensive therapy.3.To advert the quality of antihypertensive treatment avoiding excessive fluctuations in blood pressure.
