Objective: Cerebrovascular disease, cardiovascular disease and malignant tumor have occupied the top three causes of human natural death. And the cerebral infarction (Cerebral Infarction, Cl) accounts for 75% of cerebrovascular disease, which morbidity, the death rate is high and serious affects people's quality of life. With the medical level of increase over the years, the etiology of cerebral infarction related research is in greater depth, in the known traditional risk factors hypertension, hyperlipidemia, diabetes, smoking, aging and genetic factors on the foundation, many scholars focus on exploring new risk factors, which target early prevention and control measures. At present, A great quality of epidemiological documents have confirmed the intimate association between human cytomegalovirus (HCMV) and the occurrence or development of atherosclerotic disease, in our study we will compare the three common herpes virus - human cytomegalovirus (HCMV), herpes simplex virus (HSV), varicella - zoster virus (VZV) in my study I select three group people: without risk factors for cerebral infarction group, risk factors for cerebral infarction disease groups and normal control group, then use PCR method to detect disease of the three group people′s blood DNA in the presence of three common herpes virus, so as to explore how much relationship between the these three common herpes virus and the occurrence of cerebral infarction to explore whether the three viruses can become an independent risk factor for cerebral infarction and suggest us take new ideas for the treatment and the primary and secondary prevention of Cl.Methods:1 The Subjects come from the in-patients of the department of neurology of the Second hospital of Hebei Medical University and the healthy people for physical examination in our hospital, during March 2007 to July 2008.Then they are divided into three groups: the first group(referred to as non-risk group)-30 patients of CI without any dangerous (13 male and 17 female) the mean age was 40.34±6.34 years old (rang from 29 ~ 68 years old). The clinical and imaging study of patients diagnosed as cerebral infarction, who were confirmed by MRA without vascular malformation, not smoking, not drinking alcohol or less, without hypertension, no hyperlipidemia and without diabetes, blood diseases side by side and apart from atrial fibrillation caused by brain embolism, non-immune deficiency diseases and autoimmune diseases, no heart, liver, renal dysfunction and no apparent genetic predisposition of familial cases, non-hereditary spherical cell histiocytosis; the second group(referred to as high-risk group)- 30 patients of CI with one or several dangerous (15 male and 15 female) the mean age was 44.36±5.47 years old(rang from 32 ~ 65 years old), all the diagnostics consist with the criteria of cerebral infarction in the Fourth National Cerebrovascular Disease Conference in 1995 and the meeting of international cerebral vessels in 2008 ,and they are all confirmed by brain CT or MRI, except for transient ischemic attack, reversible cerebral infarction, etc; the third group(referred to as the control group)- 30 patients of CI without any dangerous (15 male and 15 female) the mean age was 46.23±7.45 years (rang from 39 ~ 66 years old). This group have not found lesions by carotid artery ultrasound, head CT or MRI examination, who are non-smoking, drinking, no hypertension, no diabetes, no hyperlipidemia and no signs of the nervous system with positioning(short-listed conditions above the upper age limit of 70 years of age, the age of the three group is similar, and the age and the sex have no statistic meaning). After all the study patients are fasting 10 hours or more, the next morning peripheral venous blood samples 5ml, with EDTA anticoagulant, placed in -20℃refrigerator freezer until DNA extraction line, and then take PCR for virus detection.2 The results would be dealt with SPSS 13.0 statistical software: numeration data byχ2 test, measurement data by t test, and size of test t andχ2αequal to 0.05, compare with each other the statisticα′equal to 0.0125.Results:1 the results of HCMV Using PCR method, there are 12 people infect human cytomegalovirus in the non-risk group, the positive rate is 40%; in the high-risk group there are 5 people with cytomegalovirus, the positive rate is 16.7%; however, there are 3 people in the control group, the positive rate is 10%, According statistical analysis we conclude that there are significant different between the three group (χ2=8.614, P=0.013). Compare to each two of them, we draw a conclusion it is different between non-risk group and the control group (χ2=7.200, P =0.007), there is no statistical difference between non-risk group and high-risk group(χ2=0.022, P =0.045), high-risk group and the control group(χ2=0.144, P=0.704).2 the results of HSVUsing PCR method, there are 9 people infect HSV in the non-risk group, the positive rate is 30%,in the high-risk group there are 3 people with HSV, the positive rate is 10%, however, there are 2 people in the control group, the positive rate is 6.67%, According statistical analysis we conclude that there are significant different between the three group (χ2=7.274 P=0.026). Compare to each two of them, we draw a conclusion it is different between the non-risk group and control group (χ2=5.455 P=0.012), there is no statistical difference between high-risk group and the control group(χ2=0.000 P=1.000), the non-risk group and high-risk group(χ2=3.750 P=0.053).3 the results of VZVUsing PCR method, there are 21,23,25 people respective infect VZV in the non-risk group, the high-risk group and the control group, the positive rate is 70%, 76.7%, 81.3% respectively, According statistical analysis we conclude that there is no statistical difference between of them(χ2=0.523 P=0.770).Conclusion:1 It may have some relationship between the infection of HCMA and CI.2 It may have some relationship between the infection of HSV and CI.3 There are no statistic meaning between the infection of HSV and CI.4 Human cytomegalovirus, herpes simplex virus can become an independent risk factor in the course of CI.
