Objective: Viral encephalitis is a common sort of disease of CNS virus infection. Clinical manifestations is Varying degrees of Headache,Disgusting,Vomiting or Convulsions,Coma,Paralysis,Respiratory rhythm is not the whole, etc. . Currently it have reported more than 100 kinds of viruses can cause encephalitis .The main pathogens have EVs,ECHOV,Coxsackie V,Measeles V,HSV,VZV,EBV,HCMV,MV and Newly discovered Nipah virus,West Nile virus. In recent years the incidence is rising, Because of different viral infection the scope and the degree of significant differences the clinical performance very complex. At present, clinical diagnosis is mainly based on medical history, symptoms, signs and related examinations such as electroencephalography, imaging examination, cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) of a variety of inspection. Cerebrospinal fluid of viral encephalitis is characterized by lymphocyte reaction and reported in the literature that the alter have important significance in early diagnosis. lymphocytes in morphology can be divided into small lymphocytes, transformed lymphocytes and large lymphoid cells .Application of our immunocy chemical technique in cerebrospinal fluid . CD3 and CD20, respectively, as T lymphocytes and B lymphocytes marker the distinguishOf lymphocytes .Perspective of immunology of viral encephalitis immune pathogenesis. The incidence of inflammation depends on the number of virus invasion, virulence and immune function. In generally believed that, when the virus virulence stronger or immune dysfunction, the virus can be penetrated with the blood circulation and further proliferation of the central nervous system, causing brain tissue vascular lesions and nerve cell degeneration and necrosis .And peripheral blood T lymphocytes are the most important group of cells of immune system function, mainly composing by the CD4 + and CD8 + two groups of cells at a normal body, these two interactions between lymphocyte , maintaining the balance and reflect the immune function. When the lymphocyte subsets and function of the number of abnormal happened, the body suffer the immune pathological changes and immune dysfunction. The use of our flow cytometry study of viral encephalitis in patients with peripheral blood T lymphocytes and its subsets to study immune function status. The aim is To explore the immune function in patients with viral encephalitis at the onset, progression and prognosis of the disease, give the thereunder toclinical observation and therapy. Methods: Thirty Patients suffer from virus and thirty patients from others infective diseases of CNS. Of all cases that the incidence of the acute phase within a week dedicated lumbar cerebrospinal fluid, collected cerebrospinal fluid cells,MGG colouration : CSFC of virus encephalitis and the CSFC of control group were compared. the group of virus encephalitis use Sp method to eamark the lymphocy. Micromirror observe. then using flow cytometry to measurate the CD3+T,CD4+T,CD8+T,CD4+/CD8+′number ,compare it with the common people.Result: 1The check of Cerebrospinal fluid cytology: the study group 22 cases of the group (73.33%) in the main lymphocyte reaction; the control group in 4 cases (13.33%) in lymphocyte reaction .the study group and the control group type of abnormal cerebrospinal fluid cytology have significant difference. we can see brain virus (membrane) phase of cerebrospinal fluid cytology in the performance of the main lymphocyte reaction.2 The Virus Group immunohistochemical staining CD3T positive lymphocytes 25 (83.33%) cases, CD20B lymphocytes positive 9 (30.00%) cases, there is statistical significance comparing the two, we Can seen in patients with encephalitis virus in cerebrospinal fluid lymphocytes are T lymphocytes mainly.3 Study peripheral blood flow and its subgroup of T lymphocytes showed that virus of the brain (membrane) exist in patients with inflammatory changes in immune function. CD3 + T lymphoid total number of 69.69±6.74 compared with the normal value is not statistically significant ; CD4 + T lymphocytes of the total number of 37.63±8.31, than the normal reduction;CD8 + T accounted for total lymphocyte number of 29.04±6.45, an increase over normal; CD4 + / CD8 + ratio was 1.32±0.60 than the normal decline. Conclusion: 1 Cerebrospinal fluid cytology in the central nervous system infectious disease diagnosis and differential diagnosis has important significance.2 Cerebrospinal fluid in the classification of immune cells can serve as viral encephalitis (membrane) inflammatory immune pathological mechanism of an important way.3 Of viral encephalitis (membrane) of the immune function in patients with inflammation of the rapid detection and assessment, there is a certain degree of clinical practical value. For immunomodulatory drugs provide the basis for clinical application.
