OBJECTIVE: To investigate the impact factors related with success rate of resuscitation of sudden coronary death in hosptial .METHODS: A total of 47 cases of patients, who were hospitalized in Cardiovascular Institute of The First Affiliated Hospital, Guangxi Medical University from January 2000 to March 2009, were all diagnosed of Sudden Death according to the World Health Organization (WHO) diagnostic criteria, and carried out Coronary Angiography before and after the sudden death occurred in 1 month. Among the patients, 35 cases belonging to the survival group, 12 cases belonging to death group.RESULTS: 47 cases of sudden death in patients with coronary heart disease, 35cases of the survival group, 12 cases of death group. There are Statistical differences in the age of the two group (P=0.047). There was no statistical difference in gender, History of hypertension, History of diabetes, blood lipids, body mass index, smoking history, alcohol history, and family history of coronary heart disease. In addition, there are Statistical differences in Left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) of the two group (P=0.008), the LVEF of death group are lower than the survival group. There are no statistical differences in the existence of complications of shock (P=0. 868). The survival group accepts the PCI treatment proportion is higher than the death group. There are no statistical differences in ECG (18-lead) of the two groups. After multi-factor non-conditional logistic regression analysis, we find out that the rescue effect of a correlation with age and LVEF.CONCLUSIONS: 1) The patients with sudden death of coronary heart disease have lower success rate of resuscitation by risk factors such as Old Age, low LVEF; 2)The patients with sudden death of coronary heart disease have higher success rate of resuscitation, who accept PCI intervention.
