Clinical Observation Of The Effects Of Trolamine Cream On Burn Wounds

Objective To evaluate the effect of Trolamine Cream on the healing of early burn wounds.Methods From 2007 to2008 collected 60 cases burn patients,and 28 cases were superficialⅡburn wounds,22cases were deepⅡburn wounds,and 10 cases were skin-offering wounds.They were enrolled in this study and were observed by randomized and placebo - controlled protocol.SuperficialⅡburn wounds,deepⅡburn wounds and skin-offering wounds' Trolamine Cream treatment group were compared with these Biogaze control group.The healing time were observed.The statistical treatment is t-test and x~2-test by SPSS and PPMS software. Compare clinical effects between different groups.Trolamine Cream treatment group and Biogaze control group tissue specimens were obtained from the early deepⅡburn wounds and the healed deep I burn wounds skin tissue.They were observed under optical microscopes.Results Compared with Biogaze control group,superficialⅡburn wounds,deepⅡburn wounds and skin-offering wounds Trolamine Cream treatment group can decrease the healing time obviously(p＜0.05,or p＜0.01).Histological examination displayed Trolamine Cream can increase the number of the macrophages in the early deepⅡburn wounds,and can decrease scar ratio and improve heal-quality in the deepⅡburn wounds.Conclusion Trolamine Cream can obviously promote the healing of burn wounds and skin-offering wounds,and improve heal-quality in the deep partial thickness burn wounds.So it is recommended for clinical application.
