| ObjectiveTo investigate the risk factors on intracranial artery stenosis in patients with ischemic cerebrovascular disease of Qingdao.Methods168 patients with ischemic cerebrovascular disease were confirmed by the digital subtraction angiography(DSA).Of the 168 patients,95(57%) were found to have the evidence of intracranial median stenosis(defined as case group),73(43%) patients had no obvious stenosis(defined as control group),lipids including total cholesterol(TC), low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C),triglyceride(TG),Uric acid(UA) and C-reactive protein(CRP)were examined. Other risk factors of cerebrovascular disease such as hypertension, diabetes, ischemic cardiac disease, smoking, family history were comparatively investigated between the 2 groups.ResultsUnivariate analysis showed that there were significant differences between 2 groups in hypertension, ischemic cardiac disease,smoking,diabetes,TC,LDL-C.Multivariable logistic stepwise regression analysis found the hypertension(OR=2.436,95%CI 1.121-5.160,P=0.026),diabetes(OR=2.012,95%CI 1.123-5.675,P=0.027), LDL-C(OR=1.764,95%CI 1.151-2.703,P=0.013) were independent risk factors of intracranial artery stenosis in patients with ischemic cerebrovascular disease of Qingdao.ConclusionsThe study suggests that hypertension,diabetes,LDL-C may be independent risk factors of sympotomatic intracranial stenosis in patients of Qingdao, and we need large cohort studies to confirm it. |
