Objective:To study the best way to determine fraction excretion of uric acid(FEUA).To establish reference values of FEUA in healthy adults in coastal areas of Shandong Province and to analyze if there are differences of FEUA among different gender or different age groups,and the impact of related factors.Methods:1.To Collect urina sanguinis,12h urine,24h urine,and fasting blood samples Within 24 hours.The uric acid and creatinine of every sample were tested with Sysmex chemix-180,to calculate FEUA and analyze dependability.2.12h urine was used to establish the scope of the reference value of FEUA:913 cases of healthy adults were divided based on age or gender.Participants retained urine within 12 hours at night and fasting blood samples,then the uric acid and creatinine concentration were tested according to the above-mentioned method,to calculate FEUA.The results were statistically analyzed by SPSS 16.0 software,and to establish the respective reference value.3.To analyze the impact of blood lipids,blood pressure to serum uric acid and FEUA:To select 376 cases of hypercholesterolemia in patients,231 cases of hypertriglyceridemia in patients,222 cases of hypercholesterolemia and hypertriglyceridemia in patients,390 cases of hypertensive disease in patients and 290 cases of hypertensive disease and disordered lipid metabolism in patients,and to calculate FEUA according to the above-mentioned method.To analyze differences between the every group and the healthy adults by SPSS 16.0 software.P<0.05 was considered significant.Results:1.FEUA of urina sanguinis,12h urine and 24h urine were significantlly positive correlation between every two.The best correlation is existed between 12h and 24h urine in Men or women or the overall,Women:r=0.877,Men:r=0.926,All:r=0.908,(P<0.01).2.Serum uric acid and FEUA between different genders were analyzed by t test,Serum uric acid in male was higher than in female(P=3.1187E-40),but FEUA in male was lower than in female(P=5.803E-13).The normal range of FEUA in female is 3.891%-10.841%,FEUA in male is 3.677%-9.479%.Among different age groups:Uric acid of every group of<50 years-old was lower than two groups of>51 years-old,FEUA of<30 years-old was lower than other four groups,the differences were significant(P<0.05),while there is no significant difference between the remaining every two groups(P>0.05).3.Serum uric acid in the hypertensive disease and disordered lipid metabolism group was higher than in the healthy control group,the differences were significant(P<0.05),while there is no significant difference between the remaining every group and the healthy control group(P>0.05).There is no significant difference of FEUA between the hypertensive disease group and the healthy control group,while the remaining every group was lower healthy control group,the differences were significant (P<0.05).Conclusion:1.FEUA can be calculated by 12h urine which replacing 24h urine,to response to the uric acid excretion of the body.2.To provide evidence for hyperuricemia control and prevention it will be necessary to estabalish respective reference values of FEUA for healthy male and female.3.Uric acid excretion can be inhibited by disordered lipid metabolism,while there is little effect on uric acid excretion in simple Hypertension.
