Objective:To investigate spectrum characteristics of the bilaterally dorsolateral white matter and cingulate gray matter of the frontal lobe of athletes with long-term large load Exercise using GE1.5T MR instrument,compare to volunteers,grouping investigate the changes and rules.Method:Choose 20 excellent athletes of archery team of shanxi province,among them,10 athletes engage professional training for one year,10 athletes for 3 years.Training program and intensity every week of 20 athletes are same.And choose 10 volunteers.Request:the age of all 30 objects is between 14 and 23,Han people, medical examinations are normal,with no mental disorder,craniocerebral trauma,organic disease.All them know the examination and sign in the informed consent.(1) Preparation before the examination.(2) To exclude unknown pathological changes in brain,all examinees are enforced routine MR detection.(3) ~1H-MRS data acquisition: apply 8NVHEAD coil.Select region of interest of the bilaterally dorsolateral white matter and cingulate gray matter of the frontal lobe,acquisite spectrum data using point-resolved spectroscopy(PRESS).MRS data is transmitted advantage workstation of American GE company,which are connected with scanner.Respectively measure concentration of N-acetyl aminosuccinic acid(NAA),choline composite(Cho),myo-inositol(ml) and creatine(Cr),then calculate ratios of NAA,Cho,mIto Cr.Results:(1) The absolute values of Cho and mI,Cho/Cr and mI/Cr ratios in left anterior cingulate gyrus gray of athletes training for one year,three years were higher than control group,there was statistical significance(P<0.05),but there was no statistical significance between athletes for one year and three years(P>0.05).And there was no statistical significance of the absolute values of NAA and Cr,NAA/Cr ratios in three groups(P>0.05).(2) The absolute values of Cho,Cho/Cr ratios in left white matter of athletes training for one year,three years were higher than control group,there was statistical significance(P<0.05),but there was no statistical significance between athletes for one year and three years(P>0.05).And there was no statistical significance of the absolute values of NAA,mI,Cr,NAA/Cr,mI/Cr ratios in three groups(P>0.05).(3) There was no statistical significance of the absolute values of NAA,Cho,ml,Cr,NAA/Cr,Cho/Cr,mI/Cr ratios in right anterior cingulate gyrus gray and right white matter in three groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:from the perspective of imageology,detect specific domain in brain of athletes which engage long-term large load exercise using MR spectroscopy,the concentration of choline and myoinositol was raised up in anterior cingulate gyrus gray, choline was raised up in white matter.It points that exercise stress leads to the high level of metabolism.
