There are some findings of a large number of animals and mankind's heart certisified that myocardium cells not only can carry on one's own division, regeneration, and new myocardium cells participate in heart maintenance and repair that pathological change organized of steady state since too. A view thinks myocardium cells can be carried on oneself and repaired, duplicated ending and differentiating cells of hyperplasia at present. In addition, studies have suggested if the heart has not repaired function, myocardium cells do not have ability to duplicate, then heart skin cells wither the quantity of dying mean the myocardium cells that the heart has in 5 months. Discover, cells survive the size of time has close relations with its the telomere length of terminal DNA, telomere length short to say cell to be old and feeble, incident to wither, lose. In the sport course, because of the function of various factors, can cause the damage of the myocardium cell telomere.Telomerase is a cellular reverse transcriptase responsible for telomere maintenance in most organisms. It does so by adding telomere repeats onto pre-existing ends using an integral RNA component as template. It possesses the function of delaying the progressive erosion of chromosome termini, postponing growth arrestp. Telomerase is made up of TERT, TER and other connecting proteins, but it is most important role that TERT affect activity of telomerase. The purpose of this essay is to detect amount of cardiac myocytes'telomerase among different exercise and discuss the mechanism and significance of telomerase expressionResults:1. No abvious brown granules were found in the endochylema of cardiocytes of the control group;fewer light brown granules were observed in the endochylema of the aerobic exercise group;obvious brown granules were found in the overload exercise group.2. The values of integral optical density of TERT mRNA in the aerobic and overload exercise groups were higher than the control group(p<0.01);the values of the overload exercise group were higher than aerobic exercise group(p<0.05).Conclusions:1. Long-term load exercise could promote the expression of telomerase, which inceases with the exercise intensity.2. When long-term exercise, telomerase increasing could help the adapt change of cardiac myocyte and prevent cellular aging and apoptosis. But this function is limitation.
