Objective:To compare the scores in SDS ,SAS,QOL and level of CD3 ,CD4, CD8, CD4/CD8, NK Cell, WBC between deferent groups in order to explore the effect of psychological intervention on rectal cancer patients with enterostomise , including emotion, immunological function and quality of life .It is useful to improve recovery and increase the quality of life on rectal cancer patients with enterostomies. .Methods:The total of 62 rectal cancer patients with enterostomies for clinical research were chosen from anorectal surgery in Shanxi cancer hospital . The samples were randomly divided into two groups ,32 samples into intervention group and 30 samples into control group . The intervention group received psychological intervention simultaneously routine therapy whereas the control group only received routine therapy. Before and after psychological intervention , measured the dependent variables to compare the differences between two groups.Results:(1) There were no significant differences between two groups in general situation and scores of scales and immunological indexes before psychological intervention. Meanwhile, the scores of SDS and SAS were higher than normal people both two groups. It indicates the patients with enterostomise are inclined to anxiety and depression.(2) There were significant differences between the two groups in scores of scales and immunological indexes after psychological intervention. Compared with control group, intervention group significantly decreased in the scores of SDS (P<0.01) and SAS (P<0.05) while the scores in the QOL was significantly higher(P<0.01).The results show that psychological intervention help to improve the emotion and quality of life .Besides, intervention group was significantly higher than control group in CD3 (P<0.01),CD4 (P<0.05),CD8 (P<0.05),NK Cell (P<0.01),WBC (P<0.05). It shows that psychological intervention may enhance immunological function of cancer patients with enterostomies.(3)Because of effect of psychological intervention, intervention group had significant differences with control group in D-value .There were significant differences in D-value of scales between the two groups .The results respectively were in SDS (P<0.01)and in SAS(P<0.05). Furthermore, intervention group's D-value was greater than control group .In the aspect of D-value of immunological indexes, the differences were still significant. The results respectively were in CD3(P<0.01),in CD8(P<0.01),in NK Cell(P<0.05).The D-value of control group was greater than intervention group's. According to above results, it point out that psychological intervention may effectively improve emotion and immunological function. (4)Using the method of multiple stepwise regression to analyze the D-value that was statistical differences between two groups, the results indicate the major correlate factor is psychological intervention. Conclusions: Rectal cancer patients with enterostomies are inclined to anxiety and depression and their immunological function are as in low level as quality of life. The situation tends to influence prognosis and process of patients .The psychological intervention helps to improve the emotion and enhance immunological function that may be beneficial to ameliorate quality of life . The psychological intervention is probably helpful to recovery and to extend lifetime on rectal cancer patients with enterostomies . |
