A Study Of The Effect Of On Relieving Pelvic Pain Using The Abdominal Acupuncture In Patients With Endometriosis

ObjectiveThe main purpose of the study is to observe the effect of on relieving pelvic pain using the abdominal acupuncture in patients with endometriosis. Around through observes the changes of the short-form McGill pain questionnaire,the blood serum level of CA125,the short form Endometriosis Health Profile-5 questionnaire(EHP-5),the pelvic cavity organic pathological changes(chocolate cyst of ovary and adenomyosis) as well as the menstruation to approach the basic prescription of abdominal acupuncture used to treat the pelvic pain associated with endometriosis,evaluate the effect of this treatment on relieving pelvic pain,the security of this treatment,its influence to the blood serum level of CA125 and the the cases of pelvic as well as the improvement of the quality of life,thus to find a new way and a new method to treat the pelvic pain associated with endometriosis effectively.MethodsThe study used the simple stochastic balanced check experiment.The 58 cases of endometriosis collected from may,2007 to march,2009 in Guangdong Province Chinese medicine hospital gynecology department outpatient service. All of them were puzzled by the pelvic pain associated with endometriosis. They divided into the treated group with 30 cases and the control group with 28 cases stochastically.The treated group gived the treatment of abdominal acupuncture,while the control group gived the caps of radix notoginsend. Before and after the treatments we leted the patients write the short-form McGill pain questionnaire and the short form Endometriosis Health Profile-5 (EHP-5) questionnaire,tset the blood serum level of CA125 and EmAb,take the B-type ultrasonography and the woman examine,in order to record their cases of pelvic and the menstruation situation,in addition to carried on some secure target inspections.At last we distinction comparative analysised various targets between two group and own around in one group.Result1.After the treatments,both two groups had the drop in the grading of the short-form McGill pain questionnaire.There is statistics significance difference in the group own comparison(P＜0.05).While the groups comparison also has statistics significance difference(P＜0.05).The treated,group is better than the control group in this aspect.2.After the treatments,both two groups had the drop of the blood serum level of CA125.There is statistics significance difference in the group own comparison(P＜0.05).While the groups comparison also has statistics significance difference(P＜0.05).The treated group is better than the control group in this aspect.3.After the treatments,the menstruation situation of tow groups both had improvement.There isn't statistics significance difference in the groups comparison(P＞0.05).While the changes of chocolate cyst of ovary,there isn't statistics significance difference in the group own comparison or the groups comparison(P＞0.05).For the adenomysis before and after the abdominal acupuncture,there is statistics significance difference in the sum of womb three diametrical(P＜0.05).Whlie there isn't statistics significance difference in this aspect in the control group(P＞0.05).The abdominal acupuncture has function in improving the cases of pelvic possibly.4.About the quality of life,after the treatments both two groups had changes in the pain to body function,daily life,social function,mood and individual image.There is statistics significance difference in the group own comparison (P＜0.05).And there is statistics significance difference in looking after children,the sex life and the feeling of the treatment in the treared group own comparison(P＜0.05).There aren't statistics significance differences in these aspects in the control group own comparison(P＞0.05).The treated group is better than the control group in looking after children and the feeling of the treatment(P＜0.05).But both two groups had no function in reducing the score of sterile worrying(P＞0.05).5.There was no obviously change in secure target inspections,non-case observes falls off and untoward effect in two groups.ConclutionThe basic prescription of abdominal acupuncture which composites by yin qi gui yuan and zhongji xue can relieve the pelvic pain associated with endometriosis effectively,obviously lower the blood serum level of CA125, improve the quality of life of the patients who have endometriosis in the pain to body function,daily life,social function,mood and individual image and so on.In addition the abdominal acupuncture possibly has the function in improving the cases of pelvic.All of these suggest that abdominal acupuncture can reduce the dystopia internal membrane activeness,improve its infiltration depth,even wither the dystopia internal membrane.The abdominal acupuncture also has good security and compliance.
