A Clinical Study Of Therapy Of Kun Zao Tiao Zhi Capsules On Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease

OBJECTIVE:to observe the therapeutic effect of Kun Zao Tiiao Zhi Capsules for treating with NAFLD.METHOD:the 80 NAFLD patients were randomly divided into two groups,the treating group was administered Kun Zao Tiao Zhi Capsules(n=40) and the control group was administered Dong Bao Can Tai Tablets.Both groups practiced temperance in diet,took appropriate exercises,and stopped other drug treatment during the treatment period.Hepatic functions(ALT,AST,ALP, GGT,T-Bill,A/G),renal functions(GLU,UA,BUN,Cr),blood fat(TG, TC,LDL-C,HDL-C),and blood,urine routine examinations were performed before and after the treatment,routine hepatic exploration and diagnoses were performed with the same B-ultrasonoscopeand by the same operator.Course of treatment of the both groups lasted for two months,clinical symptoms and signs were recorded weekly and adverse reaction was recorded at any time it occurred during the treatment,iconographical therapeutic effect after the treatment was evaluated by mathematical integrations.Rating scales of the both groups were scored before and after the treatment,chi-square test and t-inspection were performed to analyze the equilibrium of the general information(including the age,sex,pathogenesis,stage of fatty liver before the treatment) of the patients in the both groups.Information of recuperation of the NAFLD were analyzed by t-inspection.RESULTS:baseline information of the two groups were comparable(P＞0.05).. No changes in ALT and AST were observed in the control group(P＞0.05) after the treatment;significant changes in ALT(P＜0.01),changes in AST(P＜0.05).were observed in the treatment group after the treatment.No change in ALT and AST between the two groups were observed before and after the treatment (P＞0.05).Significant changes in TG,TC,LDL-C and HDL-C were observed in the control group after the treatment(P＜0.01),but no change in HDL-C was observed in the treatment group(P＞0.05).There was no change in TG,TC,LDL-C and HDL-C between the two groups(P＞0.05).Significant changes in B-ultrasonic integration were observed in both groups after the treatment(P＜0.01),no change in that was between the two groups after the treatment(P＞0.05).No obvious adverse reactions occurred in both groups.CONCLUSION:Kun Zao Tiao Zhi Capsules is effective in treating with NAFLD and in improving or recovering the hepatic functions,and is more effective than the western medicine(control group) in reducing enzymological index;no adverse reaction was observed.
