OBJECT:To survey dosiology parameter of the intraoral electron cones made by ourselves,which were used to boost to mouth neoplasms radiotherapy.MATERIAL AND METHOD:According to the Varian 2300C/D accelerator a set of intraoral electron cone were designed and made by ourselves with low melting point lead.They were used to mouth neoplasms radiotherapy.Measurement and analysis were made with three-dimensional water tank and beam analyze software system,then the percentage depth dose and off axis ration in determined SSD were got.Their character and rules were analyzed.RESULT:The effective treating depth(R85) of fiat opening intraoral cone was 2.35cm with 9Mev electron beam,and field mean(50%dist) was 3.05cm.They were 2.91cm and 3.04cm respectively while 12Mev electron beam was used.The parameter of the effective treating depth 3.0cm oblique opening intraoral cone was approximately same to the flat opening ones.The field mean was 3.17cm with 9Mev electron beam and 3.12cm with 12Mev electron beam.CONCLUSION:The intraoral cone made by ourselves had the advantages of low manufacture cost and easy operation.It was fit to treat small and superficial mouth neoplasms.
