The genus Nannoglottis belongs to the family compositae and is a Chinese endemic genus and consists of only nine species,which widely distributes in Gansu,Ningxia,Qinghai, Xizang,Sichuan provinces,found in altitudes between 2400 and 4200 m.Up to now,only the phytochemical constitutes of N.ravida were studied and two new clerodane-type diterpenoides were isolated from it.The phytochemical constitutes of N.carpesioides Maxim. have not been studied.In this thesis,we made systemic phytochemical studies on the aerial parts of N. carpesioides,which were collected in Qinghai province.From the petrol ether extract of petrol ether-Et2O-MeOH(1:1:1,V:V:V) residue and the EtOAc extract of MeOH residue,45 compounds were isolated by means of silica gel column chromatography(CC),Sephadex LH-20 etc.The structures of 39 compounds had been elucidated by spectroscopic methods, such as HRESIMS,EIMS,IR,UV,1D-NMR(1H,13C-NMR,DEPT,NOE),2D-NMR(1H-1H COSY,HSQC,HMBC) and in combination with comparison to the literature data or authentic samples.There were six diterpenes(three clerodanes,three phytols),seven triterpenes(two ursanes,three cyeloartanes,an oleanolic acid and a mominine),eleven sterols(seven stigmastanes,three ergotanes,and a cholesterol),two coumarins,two phenylpropanoids,two aromatic derivatives,three tetradecanoylglycerol and the others,three new compounds were elucidated as 13-β-D-lyxopyranosyl-10βH-19β,17α,20α-trimethyl-cleroda-3,14-diene(1), 13-β-D-lyxopyranosyl-10βH-19β,17α,20α-trimethyl-2-oxo-cleroda-3,14-diene(2),13-β-D-lyxopyranosyl -10βH-19β,17α,20α-trimethyl-2β-hydroperoxycleroda-3,14-diene(3).Because of special karyomorphological,there are many dispetus about taxonomy of Nannoglottis.It has been classified into four different tribes of Asteraceae:Inuleae,Senecioneae, Liabeae and Astereae.The research of Qin Hai-Lin et al.and our groups' indicated that chemical constituents from it are similar with that of Aster.Therefore the chemical constituents and pharmacological activities of Aster were reviewed in this thesis since 1995.Up to now,the phytochemical constitutes from the aerial parts of N.carpesioides had been studied for the first time,which are useful to exploiting and utilizing bioactive compounds of natural plants,and this thesis give phytochemistry proofs to chemotaxonomy.
