Study On The Clinical Experience Of Professor Xie Jingri In Treating Active Ulcerative Colitis

Ulceraive colitis(UC)is a kind of digestive tract diseases with the principal pathological characteristics of chronic inflammation and ulcer,belonging to inflammatory bowl disease(IBD).Mainly locating in the mucosa and submucosa of large intestine(rectum and colon),lesions can extend towards proximal end even throughout the whole colon.Bloody mucopurulent stool,diarrhea, bellyache and tenesmus are the clinical manifestations of UC,with different severity of disease and chronic history of repeated attack.Untill now,the etiology of UC hasn't identified in modern medicine.As effective drug, aminosalicy acid,corticosteroid and immunomodulator can treat UC to some extent,but they have heavy side effect and UC recurrence easily.According to mass literature data,the development of UC in integrated medicine is expatiated, and the etiology,pathogenesis,diagnosis and treatment of UC are discussed.So damp abundance due to spleen asthenia syndrome is considered as the basic pathogenesis of UC.Through research on UC patients of professor XIE Jing-ri, thoughts of therapy of UC is summarized from etiology,pathogenesis,dialectics and therapeutic medication.From etiology and pathogenesis,professor XIE holds that asthenia of the spleen and stomachis is the immanent cause of UC, and retention of damp is the fundamental cause of UC.And from therapy, professor XIE holds Zao shi Jianpi Qingre Jiedu Law as a fundamental method of treating activeUC.
