Revise Of State-Trait Anger Expression Inventory â…¡ And Analyse Of The Coping Style Among Anger-out Group And Anger-in Group

Objective: Due to lacking of the instrument to study the different anger expression in China at present,we revised State-Trait Anger Expression Inventory 2 which has been introduced,and its applicability was examined in Chinese,in order to supply the effective tool to classify the different anger expression; Due to lacking the psychological mechanism of anger in TCM at present,we carryed out the research about coping style of people which were anger-in or anger-out. Method:we have revised Speilberger's State-Trait Anger Expression Inventory 2,as well as different occupational people were assessed. The inventory's reliability was verified by Chronbach'sαcoefficient and its structure validity was verified by factor analysis,convergent validity and differential validity. The students were differentiated by STAXI-2,and were assessed by Trait Coping Style Questionnaire(TCSQ).The data was analysed by SPSS 13.0. Result:Chronbach'sαcoefficient of each scale was ranged from 0.633 to 0.930, which showed favorable internal consistency. Factor analysis, convergent validity and differential validity revealed that the STAXI-2 in Chinese could reflect and distinguish state anger,trait anger, anger expression and anger control constructs,and It could be available to classify anger-in group and anger-out group. The analysis of variance displayed:There were significant difference on negative coping style among anger-out group and normal group(P<0.001),and as well as between negative coping stycle and positive coping style among anger-in group and normal group(P<0.001),the anger-out group and anger-in group were also have significant difference on positive coping style. Conclusion:The reviseing of Speilberger's State-Trait Anger Expression Inventory 2 offers an effective and sensitive instrument for research of diseases induced by anger. And we also researched the correlations among anger-out group and anger-in group on the side of coping style,which provides new theory tread for the etiological factor of emotion of TCM.
