| Objective: To research the clinical effect of Surgical Treatment for III degree Medial Collateral Ligament Injuries of the Knee Joint. Method:All the cases in this study were MCL injuries patients from the Shan Dong University of TCM Affilitated Hospital orthopeadics impatient.With repairing of broken ends combined with strengthening of semitendinosus tendon. There were 16 cases male and 14 cases female aging from 20 to 58. The tear spot of 10 cases were the femoral attachment ; 3 cases were the tibial attachment; 17 cases were the body region. There were 17 cases with associated injuries. All the cases were evaluated by the Lysholm Knee Sport Injury Score System. The scores was 37.267±11.569. Result:The average score of the patients were elevated from 37.267±11.569 pre-operation to 88.500±8.203 post-operation by following-up for 6~12 months,which showed significant difference according to statistics(p<0.01).Conclusion:The clinical effect of repairing of broken ends combined with strengthening of semitendinosus tendon treatment for the III degree Medial Collateral Linament Injuries of the Knee Joint was affirmative. This method could effectively cure or improve the laxity or instability due to MCL injuries. |
