Purpose: To study type 2 diabetes mellitus with essential hypertension Syndrome Types of law, and to explore the evidence-based index of insulin sensitivity, blood lipids changes in the objective indicators. Methods: To formulate the clinical questionnaire, collect four diagnostic information and laboratory data, and use SPSS13.0 for analysis. Results: Extracted through factor analysis of four common factors. Syndromes of the insulin sensitivity index (ISI) were significantly lower than the healthy comparison group, in which the lowest group is type of abundant phlegm-dampness; type of blood stasis due to deficiency of both Qi and Yin is secondary; type of deficiency of both Yin and Yang with type of Yang-hyperactivity due to Yin-deficiency has no significant differences in statistics; type of abundant phlegm-dampness of lipid metabolism is most serious. Conclusion: 1. type 2 diabetes mellitus with essential hypertension were divided into four types: type of Yang-hyperactivity due to Yin-deficiency, type of abundant phlegm-dampness, type of blood stasis due to deficiency of both Qi and Yin, type of deficiency of both Yin and Yang. 2. Insulin sensitivity index, blood Lipid various indicators can be used as an objective of TCM Syndrome Types of detection indicators.
