Background Depression has become more and more serious problem in public sanitation.Depression is a common,chronic and recurrent disease,and heavy burden and harmful outcome harmful consequence have been paid more and more attention to gradually.5 percent of Chinese suffer from psychologic obstacle with different degree,and the number has gone up since the past several years.Depression will be one of the three most serious obstacles.Experts presume that 21st century is the peak of depression occurrence.Objective To explore and understand the inner painful emotional experience of patients with depression as well as the actual feelings in the process of diagnosis,treatment and rehabilitation.This article is to investigate the influence factors and dropout reasons of Emotional experience of patients with depression,develop effective interventions,and control this depression.Methods Seventy-one patients with depression selected by purposive sampling were interviewed,and the data was analyzed by Colaizzi method.Results 1.The influence of drug compliance was significant as following:social support,consent degree to depression,depression symptom degree,(p<0.01);drug side effect,whole course,economic condition,anxiety,(P<0.05);no relation to age,sex,the drugspecies, education degree.2.Four themes were found:①the tortuous course of medical treatment:patients didn't know their illness early and delayed diagnosis of depression;they experienced physical checks in general hospitals before the medical treatment.②the feeling in mental hospital:they were dis-contented with conditions and the management mode of the hospital;they felt anxious and helpless and were worried about finance burden.③the pain from despression: They conldn't feel an effective emotional support and were trapped between life and death.④the experience and perception of stigma: they felt or perceived stigma and enacted stigma.Conclusion Depression patients need professional guidance of identifying and treatment,need deep humanistic care and effective emotional support.Medical staff should understand their pain deeply and reduce the stigma.
