Objective To assess the therapeutic value of CT guided percutaneous radiofrequency ablation(RFA) for Lung carcinoma(LC).Methods Twenty-six patients in our hospital with LC were treated with RFA under the CT guidance.Summarizing the change of size and density of tumors, complication, recurrence and metastasis of the tumors,to estimate the therapeutic efficacy. Result Re-examined CT of Most of patients showed:tumors became bigger first, and the value of CT became smaller.1 to 3 months later, tumors became bigger, and the density degraded.Or they became bigger, with and the value of CT bigger.3 months later, they became smaller and the density degraded.21 pieces of enhanced CT of 16 patients showed:15 pieces of those enhanced.9 pieces were with punctately or linear enhancement,1 piece with even enhancement, and 1 piece with orbicular enhancement Complication:13 had little pneumothorax.5 had pleural effusion.4 had pneumonitis.1 had metastatic lesions. Conclusion CT guided percutaneous radiofrequency thermal ablation(RFA) for Lung carcinoma(LC) is effective, especially for miniture. It is small cut, little pain, low frequency of complication which is cured easily.
