Objective:To investigate relevant factors and transformation of patients' abnormal liver function with adult onset Still's disease(AOSD).Methods:72 inpatients with AOSD was retrospectively analyzed. The difference of durations, symptomes, common factors affecting liver function, laboratory test rusults between male and female, young and elder patients was investigated.Laboratory indexes correlated with liver function(ALT and GGT)and transformation of those patients with abnormal liver function was analyzed. Results:Female accounted for 80.6 percent of all 72 patients.Male's A/G ratio was 0.2 higher than female's(1.3 vs 1.1,p=0.041),Male's LDH was 206U/L lower than female's(210U/L vs 416U/L,p=0.000).The albumin concentration of young patients (onset age≤35 years) was higher than that of elder patients(3.5g/dl vs 3.2g/dl,p=0.029), young patients had a higher level of complement C3 than elder patients(1.5g/l vs 1.3g/d, p=0.044).Patients with abnormal ALT level(ALT>50 U/L) accounted for 47.2%, however, patients with elevated GGT(GGT>40 U/L) was 75%.There was no correlation between ALT and inflammatory indexes, immune indexes, but GGT correlated with N%(R=0.320,P=0.019).There were three severe patients(one died of infection),six moderate(one died of diabetes, one died of lymphoma) and eleven mild ones with liver dysfunction when 34 patients with abnormal ALT left hospital.Conelution:1.There was no difference of durations, symptomes, common factors affecting liver function, laboratory test rusults between male and female, young and elder patients with AOSD,except several liver function indexes.2.Elevated biliary enzymes are more common in AOSD.3.GGT correlated with N%,but there was no correlation between GGT and other inflamatory indexes, immune indexes.4.There was no correlation between ALT and inflamatory indexes, immune indexes.5.Good prognosis of AOSD patients with abnormal liver fuction was found.
