Objective:To study the pathological features of IgA nephropathy with mild clinical presentationsMethods:58 biopsy proved primary IgA nephropathy patients were collected from our Renal Disease Database, who presented with mild(no hypertension,eGFR>=60ml/min~*1.73m2,24hr-proteinuria low than 1g).The activity and severity of renal pathological lesions were graded single-blinded according to Lee's classification.Results:1 Among these patients,74.1%(43/58)presented with Asymptomatic glomerular nephritis.2.As renal pathological presentation,17.2%(10/58)are unexpectedly GradeⅣ(Lee's classification),75.9(44/58)are GradeⅢ,3 cases are GradeⅡand 1 case is GradeⅠ.48.3%(28/58)have 2.33%to 45.45%global glomerulosclerosis, and 36.2%(21/58) with focal interstitial fiborsis.3 As statistics presented between two groups(gradeⅣv.s gradeⅢ),only age, eGFR,Blood urea nitrogen, total cholesterol, low density lipoprotein are significant different. Conclusion:Most of the IgA nephropathy with mild clinical presentationsAre Asymptomatic glomerular nephritis, renal pathological presentation is often more severer. No independent predictor of the severity of renal pathologic lesion.Early diagnosis and renal biopsy are necessary.
