An Innovative Research On Medical Ethics Under The Background Of The Construction Of Ecological Civilization

Ecological environment is considered as the foundation for the existence and sustainable development of human beings.To guarantee the health of human beings is the basic task of medicine.Good ecological environment is indispensable to human health,and so is the direction and intervention of medicine to ecological environment construction.The development of industrial society brings about the global tide of economic,which causes great changes of the production modes,life styles and behavioral manners of human being.At the same time,it also changes the natural and social environments in our surroundings.However,because of the water and air pollution,desertation and the fast pace of life,a considerable amount of people become sub-healthy.Poor and tangled social ecological environment leads to the decrease of the health level of human beings,and,as a result,a harmonious social ecology becomes a vital part of what is related to social interests,and the ecological civilization becomes the expectation of all the human beings.Therefore,an innovative research on medical ethics under the background of the construction of ecological civilization is in line with the requirement of the future development of human society.Besides,it will broaden the horizon of medical ethical research and provide ethical support to the construction of sustainably developing and ecologically civilized society.The construction of ecological civilization will affect every vocation, especially the development patterns of medicine,which changes from the original"Creature-Psychology-Society"mode to the"Creature-Psychology-Society -Ecology"mode.Meanwhile,changes will occur to the medical ethics and moralities as well.The medical ethics and moralities will not only focus on its medical value in the change of ecological environments but also lay emphasis on the penetration of development of medicine to ethical values of ecological environment.It also relates the responsibility of nation,society and individuals for health to that of the protection of ecological environment to put forward new medical ethnical theories that fit the new medical modes.The fact that the construction of ecological civilization were referred to in the report to the Seventeenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China indicates that ecological civilization has already become one of the targets of the socialism with Chinese characteristics.The construction of ecological civilization calls for healthy living style,green consumption pattern and fine spiritual life.Hence,the medical industry will necessarily play a guiding role in the construction of ecological civilization.The medical ethics and moralities will lead people to consciously take the moral responsibilities of constructing the ecological environment and consequently build up sustainable ecological moral values.The medical ethics and moralities not only set up behavioral standards for medical workers but also make people establish reasonable environmental values,the awareness of rules of equality between people and rules of fairness between generations in the ecological environment and the ethical ideas that the harmonious and sustainable development of ecological environment should be synchronic with the development of medicine and that of human beings.The medical ethics and moralities will also get people to form healthy living and consuming styles,so that they will lead a healthy and civilized life that can benefit future generations.The distinctions of medical ethics under the background of the construction of ecological civilization have four aspects.Firstly,it advocates integrating the previous medical ethical theories with the new medical ethical ideas of ecological civilization,attaching importance to fostering medical workers' awareness of ecological health and enhancing people's attention to ecology.In this way,the eco-system will recover into a healthy status,and, moreover,human beings can get a good-to-health space for surviving and developing.Secondly,it brings forth that the scientific parts of traditional medical ethics should be absorbed into the new ideas of medical ethics of ecological civilization,and,therefore,the traditional Chinese thinking that human life should be in a highly harmony with nature will have a new meaning. Thirdly,it argues that the relationship between human beings and ecological environment should be included in the scope of medical ethics,and meanwhile, the ecological ethics should be treated in a much greater domain of medical ethics so as to ensure a ecological concepts of health on the basis of medical ethics.Finally,it holds that the new ecological concept of health should lead the innovation of medical ethics and expand the research scope of medical ethics so that it will contribute to the healthy development of human society.
