With the development of human society and improvement of living level, the coronary disease is becoming the NO.1 killer in the world, which threatens the human healthy. Every year, there are 19 million people died of coronary diseases, the USA has 1 million, and most of them do not have the symptoms. The coronary disease is popular in developed countries, and becomes more and more popular in the developing countries too. Every year, there are 3 million people died of the coronary disease in China, nearly half of them died of coronary heart disease, and the number is becoming larger. It is very important for people to diagnose and prevent this disease. In long time, doctors diagnose the coronary disease with the diameter of coronary vessel. But resent research has shown that the coronary disease is caused by coronary atherosclerosis plaque rupture. There are many factors which can cause it rupture, and the ruptured plaque can cause thrombus, small slices, which will jam the vessel, cause ACS and MI.At present, there are two main ways to diagnose the coronary disease, one is intravascular method, and the other is non-intravascular method. The doctors diagnose the coronary disease with plaque volume, plaque thickness, fat ratio, and plaque morphology. But the results come from doctors can only show the plaque is dangerous or not, and the result might change if anther doctor diagnose the same plaque. So it is hard for doctor to use the result to make up patient retreat plan. The aim of the study is to explore the characteristic coronary plaque features that can diagnose the danger class of the coronary plaque based on the EN-MSCT image, with many histopathology index and clinical image index. There is not any report about diagnosing the danger class of coronary plaque automatically. The main works are:1) The collection of data and diagnosis30 patient data were collected for the study, and were divided into three groups: soft plaque (10 cases), mixture plaque (10 cases), calcify plaque (10 cases). Two excellent doctors were invited to diagnose the plaque images, and they classified all the plaque into three classes (A: high dangerous, B: mid dangerous, C: low dangerous).2) The selection of plaque dangerous featuresBased on the plaque histopathology index and clinical image index, three categories of features were used, including: (1) density feature: Mean, Variance, Energy, Entropy, skewness; (2) component feature: plaque volume, low density fat-core volume, volume ratio, low density fat-core Dis, low density fat-core Ecc;(3) morphological feature: plaque area, plaque perimeter, plaque baseline, Afa, B/P.3) Calculation of the features and statistical analysisAll programs were performed with VC++ 6.0, and it could show the plaque images, segment the plaque, and get the features automatically. All the analysis was performed by the SPSS16.0 software package. The difference between groups was considered to be significant if the p-value was less than 0.05.Conclusion:1,In soft plaque group, volume ratio, mean, entropy, low density fat-core Dis, energy, and variance have the high correlation with the diagnose result (p<0.05).2,In mixture plaque group, mean, volume ratio, energy, entropy, low density fat-core Ecc, have the high correlation with the diagnose result (p<0.05).3,In calcify plaque group, only mean has the high correlation with the diagnose result (p<0.05).
