Part 1 The investigation of sex,age and location of the internal bone tumors and tumor-like lesionsObjective:Analyze the case reports of bone tumors and tumor-like lesions in China,and obtain the incidence of sex,age and location of the bone tumors and tumor-like lesions.Methods:Search the many cases reported literatures of the bone tumors and tumor-like lesions between 1994 and 2006 through the CNKI,including clinical analysis and pathology analysis,and get the reference documents of the finding literatures.Meanwhile read fleetly the Chinese magazines before 1994,including Chinese Journal of Orthopedics,Chinese Journal of Radiology,Journal of Clinical Radiology,and Journal of Practical Radiology and so on.Analyze synthetically the internal literatures of bone tumors and the tumor-like lesions, delete the repetitive literatures and set up databases finally to analyze incidence rates of sex,age and location of bone tumors or tumor-like lesions respectively.Results:49 literatures were searched in china.There were 47196 cases of the bone tumors and tumor-like lesions.The benign bone tumors were 25516 cases(54.06%),the malignant bone tumors were 15921 cases(33.73%),and the tumor-like lesions were 4934 cases(10.46%).The giant cell tumors,that had not been classified,were 825 cases(1.75%).①Sex:The bone tumors and tumor-like lesions which sexes were detailed awere 35784 cases.The male cases were 22764(63.62%),the female were 13004 cases(36.34%),and the unclear were 16 examples(0.04%).②Age:The bone tumors and tumor-like lesions which ages were detailed were 30893 cases.The cases which ages≤10 the year old were 1707 cases(5.53%),11~20 years old were 9319(30.16%),21~30 years old were 8823 cases (28.56%),31~40 years old were 4503 cases(14.58%),41~50 years old were 2957 cases(9.57%),51~60 years old were 2014 cases(6.52%),≥60 the year old were 895 cases(2.90%),and the unclear were 675 cases(2.18%);③location:The bone tumors and tumor-like lesions which locations were detailed were 28325 cases.The cases of femur were 7343(25.93%),the tibia were 5165(18.24%),the humerus were 1930(6.82%), fingers and metacarpus were 1758(6.21%),the pelvis were 1493(5.28%),the skull were 1429(5.05%),the jaw were 1371 (4.84%),the spine were 1194(4.22%),the fibula were 882 (3.12%),the rib were 788(2.79%),metatarsal bone and bone of toes were 777(2.75%),the scapula were 629(2.22%),the radius were 622(2.20%),the sacrum were 457(1.62%),the ulna were 358(1.27%),the clavicle were 268(0.95%),the tarsal bone were 246(0.87%),the sternum were 199(0.71%),the carpal bones were 105(0.37%),the patella were 70(0.25%),the nasal bone were 11 examples(0.04%),the multiple were 436(1.54%),and the unclear were 766(2.71%).conclusion:①The common bone tumors and tumor-like lesions in china were osteochondroma(8063 cases,40.15%of the benign bone tumor),giant cell tumor(3421cases,17.03%of the benign bone tumor),chondroma(2959 cases,14.73%of the benign bone tumor),osteosarcoma(4882cases,37.79%of the maglinant bone tumor),chondrosarcoma(1601cases,12.40%of the maglinant bone tumor),metastatic tumor(2510 cases, 19.44%of the maglinant bone tumor),osteodysplasia fibrosa(1180 cases,42.43%of the tumor-like lesions) and simple bone cysts(819 cases,29.45%of the tumor-like lesions), and so on;②The common age of the benign bone tumors was between 11 and 30 years old(64.80%),ratio of the male and female was 1.74:1,and the common locations were femur and tibia(40.37%);The common age of the malignant bone tumors was between 11 and 30 years old(49.10%),ratio of the male and female was 1.85:1,and the common lo cations were femur and tibia(49.67%);The common age of the tumor-like lesions was between 11 and 30 years old(60.92%),ratio of the male and female was 1.44:1,and the common lo cations were femur and tibia(43.44%);③At present the kinds of bone tumors and tumor-like lesions in the internal literature are extremely disordered.The literature materials were insufficient,so some characteristics of the bone tumors and tumor-like lesions cannot be recognized completely.Part 2 The data comparison of sex,age and location of bone tumors and tumor-like lesions between the internal investigation and the iconography textbookObject:Discussion the data coincidence problem of bone tumors and tumor-like lesions between the internal investigation and the iconography textbook.Method:Compare the sex,age and locotion of bone tumors and tumor-like lesions between Part 1 and the musculoskeletal chapter of secend edition iconography textbook which edited by Bai ren-ju and published by People's Medical Publishing House.Result:①The same datas of the first part and the textbook:These datas were similar,which were the age of osteoma(11~30 years old);the age and locaton of osteoid osteoma(younger than 30,femur and tibia),the age of osteoblastoma(younger than 30),the age and location of osteochondroma(11~30 years old,femur and tibia),the incidence rate,age and location of chondroma(14%,11~30 years old and hand),the age and sex of chondroblastoma(11~30 years old and 1.8:1),the location of ossification fibroma(jaw),the age, sex proportion and location of osteosarcoma(11~20 years old, 1.7~1.8:1,femur and tibia),the location and sex proportion of chondrosarcoma(1.7~1.8:1,femur and tibia),the location of Ewing sarcoma(femur),the age,sex proportion and location of myeloma(older than 40,2:1,spine and skull),the age and location of fibrosarcoma(20~40 years old,femur and tibia);the age and location of metastatic tumor(older than 40,spine,pelvis and rib),the age,sex proportion and location of chordoma(30~60 years old,2:1,sacrum),the age and location of osteodysplasia fibrosa and simple bone cys(11~30 years old, femur,tibia and jaw;11~30 years old,humerus and femur),and the age of acidophilia granuloma(younger than 20).②The different datas of the first part and the textbook:These datas were different,which were incidence rate and age of osteoma(the sex proportion of osteomais not clear in the textbook),incidence rate of osteoid osteoma,incidence rate,the sex proportion and the location of osteoblastoma,incidence rate of osteochondroma(the sex proportion is not clear in the textbook),sex proportion of chondroma,incidence rate and location of chondroblastoma,age and location of ossification fibroma,age and sex proportion of Non-ossification fibroma (the disease incidence rate has not been written in the textbook), incidence rate of osteosarcoma,incidence rate of chondrosarcoma(the age has not been written in the textbook), incidence rate and the age of Ewing sarcoma(the sex proportion has not been written in the textbook),incidence rate of myeloma, incidence rate,age and location of lymphoma(the sex proportion is not clear in the textbook),incidence rates of fibrosarcoma and metastatic tumor has not been written in the textbook and the sex proportion is not clear,incidence rate and the sex proportion of chordoma,sex proportion of osteodysplasia fibrosa and simple bone cyst,the location of acidophilia granuloma(in the textbook their incidence rates have not been written),and the age and location of aneurysmal bone cysts.The datas of fibrous cortical defect and Paget disease are not mentioned in the first part.Conclusion:①Statistical data of part 1 detailer than compare them of the textbook:In the textbook sex proportion of the most bone tumors and the tumor-like lesions only were described for the male was more than the female,but the concrete proportion was not mentioned;In the textbook concrete ages oftumor albuschondrosarcoma,the acidophilia granuloma and the metastatic tumor were not written;In the textbook incidence rates of the ossification fibroma,the non-ossification fibroma,the fibrosarcoma,the metastatic tumor,the bone fiber structure bad,osteodysplasia fibrosa,the simple bone cyst,the aneurism type osteocystoma and the acidophilia granuloma were not given;②Statistical results of part 1 different to that of the textbook:incidence rates of the osteoma,the osteochondroma,the osteosarcoma,the myeloma and the chordoma in part 1 were higher than them of the textbook,and the incidence rates of osteoblastoma,the chondrosarcoma,the Ewing sarcoma and lymphoma lower than them of textbook; The average ages of ossification fibromas,the Ewing sarcoma and the aneurysmal bone cysts were older than them in the textbook,the average ages of the ossification fibroma was younger than that in the textbook,and the age of lymphoma was discreter than that in textbook;In the textbook the ossification fibroma was seen that the female was commom,but that of part 1 was male(1.23:1),male and female proportions in the textbook of osteodysplasia fibrosa and the osteoblastoma were higher than them of part 1,but them of chondroma,acidophilia granuloma and chordoma were lower;the locations of osteoblastoma,lymphomas,aneurysmal bone cysts,acidophilia granuloma and so on were different between part 1 and the textbook.
