Objective: This article will discuss the integrating traditional and western medicines application in treating illness during researching Zhang xi-chun's integrating traditional and western medicines as well as clinical prescription system. at last,morden tcm and western medicines application might draw lessons from it.Methods:TCM and western medicines in zhang xi chun's yixuezhong can xi lu is to be arranged fundamentally.1. The integrating traditional ang western medical in zhang xi chun's yixuezhongzhongcanxilu is to be corrected, noted, illum- inated and brought into play.2. The related literature is to be arranged and research by ues of tcm tecnological information database. at same time, related database of integrating traditional and western medicines knowledge in yixuezhongzhongcanxilu was built up, which is beneficial to grasp the literature3. The document are to be analysed comprehensively after they've been chosen, classified, systematzed and calculated carefully. Results:1 The principle, methods, prescription and medicine system of zhangxichun's integrating tradotional and western medicines1.1 The main idea of zhangxichun was based on tcm.at the same time,he took western medicine into account.Zhangxichun, held the idea that tcm and western medicine should be connected. he had the ability of dealing with the relationship of Tcm's inheriting and expounding.the idea penetrated into his medcal research.1.2 Zhang held the idea that the theory of tcm and western medicine should penetrat.He considered that the two fields could penetrate physiolo- gically. Tcm idea organs and vessels theory and western medical theory circulation between heart and lungs had relationship. zang xiang theory had relationship with anatomizing theory zhang also put up many theories which are same in tcm and western medicindes. Such as heart's structure, urive forming, spirit and brain and so on.Tcm and western medicine should prnetrate pathologically. Blood theory had just indicated it.1.3 Zhang's idea embodied in treating diseases.Zhang insisted in Tcm doctrine. At the same time, he also took for western medincie.He created many famous discriptions, such as shigao a si Pi Lin discription, Hayu pill, Zhu sha gu peng pai po pill, Hayu pill and so on. 1.4 The Tcm and western drug's connection1.4.1 He believed that, there is relationship between Tcm and western drug.He combined and explain. Tcm and western medicine. He explain Tcm based on western medicine. While explain western medicine based on Tcm. Meanwhile, He explain medical nature. All these were his task.1.4.2 He advocated that Tcm and western medicine should assist each other.1.4.3 He combined the applying methods of Tcm and western medicine.He paid attention to the sequence, channels, methods and so on.
