Research On The Academic Thought And Clinical Application Of "Zhang Shi Yi Tong"

Objective:This research is based on Zhang Shi Yi Tong(张氏医通),and widely collects and collates relevant literature,systematically collates and summarizes Zhang Lu’s academic thoughts and clinical experience,with a view to contributing to clinical practice.Methods:1.The method of traditional philology.There are three main sources of literature:First,the"Complete Book of Zhang Lu’s Medicine",which contains all of Zhang Lu’s works and is the most basic literature;The second is the records of Zhang Lu and his related works by contemporary scholars,preface to medical works,and local chronicles;The third is the research achievements of later scholars on the academic thought of"Zhang Shi Yi Tong(张氏医通)".2.Discipline focusing method.Comprehensive research is conducted using multidisciplinary and multi perspective theories and methods such as historiography,sociology,philosophy,methodology,and ideological history.Results:1."Zhang Shi Yi Tong(张氏医通)"extensively refers to and applies the Confucian method of"seeking knowledge through the use of materials"to elucidate the causes and pathogenesis of the disease,providing a certain theoretical basis for syndrome differentiation and clinical medication,and creating a new perspective.2.Through research on the academic thought of Zhang Lu’s"Zhang Shi Yi Tong(张氏医通)",it is found that:(1)By exploring the viewpoints related to the academic thought of typhoid fever in Zhang Lu’s"Zhang Shi Yi Tong(张氏医通)"and related works,it was found that he advocated for incorrect simplification and re revision,highlighting the idea of regulating the six meridian diseases,and involving the pathogenesis,treatment principles,and methods of the chest,abdomen,and middle qi receiving evil.(2)The explanation of the theory of Ying Wei Yuan Qi in"Zhang Shi Yi Tong(张氏医通)"further emphasizes the circulation of Yuan Qi in the five zang organs,which can be attributed to the theory of"the five zang organs are attached to Yuan Qi".(3)The"Zhang Shi Yi Tong(张氏医通)"has rich experience in pulse diagnosis,mainly involving the"Ren Ying Qi Kou Pulse Method",using the left and right hand pulse patterns to guide medication for tonifying and reducing diarrhea,the"solitary hiding of adultery"in pulse diagnosis,and the"left and right up and down"pulse to distinguish between male and female fetuses and pregnancies.(4)The academic thought of the spleen and stomach in Zhang’s Yi Tong: more emphasis is placed on the transportation function of the spleen and stomach,and the great method of regulating the spleen is emphasized,which is "no medicine is like Congee".At the same time,it has unique views on drug errors,medical experience and excessive medical treatment.3.Through the study of the medication theory in the"Zhang Shi Yi Tong(张氏医通)",it was found that the"medicinal view"in the"Zhang Shi Yi Tong(张氏医通)"actually combines natural phenomena,medicinal phenomena,and human body phenomena,thereby establishing a thinking mode that takes Qi as the link and regulates the rise and fall of Qi as the main means.4.Through the study of the clinical characteristics of"Zhang Shi Yi Tong(张氏医通)",it was found that:(1)"Zhang Shi Yi Tong(张氏医通)"attaches great importance to pulse diagnosis.(2)While emphasizing the importance of adjusting measures based on the three factors,it also emphasizes adjusting measures based on illness and is adept at formulating prescriptions based on illness.(3)Promote reactionary disobedience.(4)Its theory is to treat persistent phlegm in the nest sac with spicy drugs,and to treat patients with chronic illness and deficiency,ginseng is often added.(5)The emphasis on vitality is evident.Conclusion:Zhang Lu’s"Zhang Shi Yi Tong(张氏医通)"was greatly influenced by Zhang Zhongjing.Academically,it absorbed the ideas of the six meridian disease system in the"Treatise on Cold Damage",highlighting the pathogenesis and treatment methods of evil invading the chest,abdomen,and"middle qi".The four Qi elements of the Zhongyuan,Yingwei,and Zhongyuan are closely related,and the Yuanqi is used as the basis for argument.From the original Yuanyi Qi,it is attached to the five internal organs and combined with the Qi elements of Yingwei,and stomach,it is scattered throughout the entire body.The explanation of pulse diagnosis in"Zhang Shi Yi Tong(张氏医通)"is very rich,with a combination of pulse and syndrome,which is quite beneficial for syndrome differentiation and treatment.There are many treatment methods mentioned in the book,and the emphasis is placed on treating according to illness,especially when treating critical illnesses,which further reflects the importance of looking for vitality.
