Objective:To explore the expression and significance of osteopontin(OPN) mRNA and the homeobox gene 10(HOXA10) mRNA in the eutopic endometrium of in fertility patients who have mild -moderate endometriosis(EMs) and their change after ovulation induction treatment in this study, in order to study the correlation with endometrial thickness,serum estradiol(E2) and progesterone(P).Methods:Reverse transcription - polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR) was utilized to analysis the OPN mRNA,HOXA10 mRNA in the endometrial of cases who are in mid-luteal phase with endometriosis(EMs group),endometriosis treated with ovulation group(EMs LRH group) and normal control group.In this study we also explore the endometrial thickness of all cases by transvaginal ultra-B and invested the scrum estradiol(E2),progesterone(P) level by electricity chemiluminescent immunoassay.Statistical treatment by using one-way ANOVA and linear correlation to analysis of OPN mRNA,HOXA10 mRNA expression,and their correlation with endometrial thickness,serum estradiol(E2) and progesterone(P).Results:The OPN mRNA,HOXA10 mRNA express in all three groups.Compared with normal group,the expression of OPN mRNA in EMs and EMs LRH groups have no difference in the endometrial tissue of women who are in mid-luteal phase,and the expression of HOXA10 mRNA in EMs and EMs LRH groups were significantly(p<0.05)decreased in the endometrial tissue of women who are in mid-luteal phase.We also found there was no significant difference among serum E2,P levels and endometrial thickness in all three groups when the patients in mid-luteal phase;so does the correlation among serum E2,P levels and endometrial OPN mRNA,the expression of OPN mRNA in EMs and EMs LRH groups have no difference in the endometrial tissue of women who are in mid-luteal phase expression.Conclusion:The expression of osteopontin(OPN) mRNA in the eutopic endometrium of patients who have mild to moderate endometriosis(EMs) were no reduced in mid-luteal phase,and the expression of homeobox 10(HOXA 10) mRNA were reduced.Its might induce the decline of endometrium receptivity,which may be related to low pregnancy rate.After ovulation induction treatment,there still had no significant change of the expression of OPN mRNA,HOXA10 mRNA in the eutopic endometrium.
