[Objective]to analyze the effect of yoga on cardiovascular autonomic nerve regulation and physical fitness according to the HRV test result while practicing yoga meditation, respiration and gestures.Everything this essay wants to show us is to provide with some scientific proof for fitness and medical care.[Methods]30 ordinary college female students without any basic trainings, are divided into two groups at random, namely experimental and control group. The experimental group is trained in yoga routine for 10 weeks.Collect the electrical signal of cardiovasular system of both groups during meditation,or resting before and after meditation, lying or standing on the ground, abdominal respiration or resting after that. Test their constitution index before and after the experimentation, record their heart rate in the training class and collect related electrical signals with HRV software.Make use of the SPSS statistic processing software to analyze the results of T-test,nonparametric test and to conduct one-way analysis of variance.[Results]1.10-week yoga routines have no signifcant effect on the experiment group,s HRrest.2.HRV data of the experimental group resting in 3 different sitting positions before training are very close, while LF/HF during meditation is obviously higher than that of resting state before and after meditation when the experimentation is finished. On the contrary,of the control group before the test,LF/HF is higher during meditation than the resting state, while after test, there is no marked diversity of the 3 resting state.3.RMSSD,pNN50,LF,HF of the tested are higher in lying position than those in standing gesture, but for LF/HF the former is lower.4.with regarding to the experimental group, before training the pNN50 index while taking abdominal breath is lower than resting after the breath, whereas LF,LF/HF index of the former state is higher than the latter one. After the practice, there is nearly no difference between the two kinds of lying positions.Concerning the control group, before the test,no variation is found while changing position, but after the test,LF and LF/HF are higher when trying abdominal breath than resting afterward.5.the HRV result is hardly changed before and after the test whether meditating or resting before or after that, lying calmly, abdominal breath or resting later on.For the experimental group, its RMSSD,pNN50,LF,HF etc are lower after the test.6.After the experiment, the sit-reach test,one-minute sit-ups,the grip strength were increased;weigth was decreased.[Conclusion]1.LF/HF is increased when they are meditating, with the evidence that their sympathetic nerve becomes more active. The position has signifcant effect on RMSSD,pNN50,HF,LF and LF/HF.2.10-week yoga routines have no apparent effect on practicers' cardiovascular autonomic nerve regulation with the exception of the standing position.3.After 10-week yoga training, the experimental group,s the body weight of the is largely decreased, flexibility and physical strength are largely improved, and their balancing capacity and body fat are also changed in a positive way. However, the influence on their cordis and pulmonary functions are still in vague.
