The Role of Annexin-1 in the pathogenesis of EndometriosisObjective:The exact pathophysiology of endometriosis had not been completely understood.In recent years,the relationship between endometriosis and immune inflammation had been realized.The Immune inflammatory factors abnormality of the patients with endometriosis had direct effect on plantation,adhesion and hyperplasia of ectopic endometrial tissues.The abnormal expression of Annexin-1(ANXA1) plays an important role in the occurrence and development of endometriosis.ANXA1 is a recent discovery of a structure-related calcium-dependent phospholipid binding protein,a member of the superfamily, is widely distributed in human tissues.Mainly involved in the host immune system in the regulation of inflammatory response,is an important inflammation regulatory protein,and play an important role in the production of inflammatory metabolites,and adhesion of neutrophil / monocyte and endothelial cells,ANXA1 may be identified as a potential target for immune-induced inflammation disorders-inducing therapy of endometriosis.At present,there were no papers about ANXA1 expression in endometriosis.In order to investigate the possible mechanism of endometriosis,the immunohistochemical method was used to examine the expression of ANXA1 in 60 patients with endometriosis and 40 without endometriosis.Methods:When patients with endometriosis(n=60) were accepted operation and the sepciman were collected at gynecological department of the Second Affiliated Hospital of ShanXi Medical University,the 40 normal endiometrium tissues were studied as controls.We examined the expression of ANXA1 in normal endometrium,ectopic and eutopic endometrial tissues by the immunohistochemical method.To discussion the relationship between ANXA1 and endometriosis,the study used the Digital Imaging System to exam the average gray value of production of ANXA1 positive reactivity.Results:1.ANXA1 was expressed in every degree of all samples from patiens with endometriosis and healthy controls.Mainly expressed in endometrial glandular epithelium.2.ANXA1 were significantly more pronounced in the control group than in endometriosis. There were no significant difference between ectopic endometrium and eutopic endometrium of endometriosis.And there was no significant difference in the expression level of ANXA1 between proliferative and secretory phase in all three groups.Conclusion:In enodmetriosis,ANXA1 expression and surviving expression were higher, which promoted the disorders of patient's immune inflammatory factors,encouraged the anti-apoptotic capacity,and enhanced cell proliferation.ANXAl took part in the occurrence and development of endometriosis.
